Am I the only one disappointrd they didn't make Omega's final form look like X-series Zero? They had the perfect excuse to explain Zero's altered appearance in the Zero series and they didn't do it. Would also have been cool if they had given Omega the voice of X-series Zero and had his pre-battle opening line be a reference to something Zero used to say.
That is some random way to die. I guess X protected Zero from the explosion. Also it is weird why would Zero original body would explode a lot. As far as lore goes he no longer has the virus
I'm assuming it's not a real, harming explosion. If you've played (or watched!) any other boss in the Mega Man Zero series, you may have noticed every other boss dies the same way, with that "explosion", with no influence in the plot whatsoever
10:18 "It's just me..." A long time ago, when this game first came out, somebody put up an entire translation of the ending from Japanese. I don't remember any huge differences except for this line (which I wish they had fixed): "I am no one else but myself."
Just to put into perspective. The second form is so big that if it was made in PS3 or above, it would have the size of the Empire state building. And it had a humanoid form mecha
God, this is one of the best endings to any video game, period. The buildup, the twist, the callbacks and nostalgia, it's all perfect. This one ending is why the Mega Man series as a whole is my favorite franchise of all time. I tear up every time I see this 😢
@@legendarybeygamertechworld944 That was a complete waste, I mean the graphics, music and gameplay are superb in ZX and ZXA, but the story is based upon children playing with super powers and saving the world from even more cartoonish "evil" bullshit characters. Plus the idea to recycle (once again) Weil's lore for the story was obviously forced and retconed the ending in Zero 4 in wich the last Maverick was destroyed in the atmosphere alongside any left influence of the "Zero Virus" in the planet. Having Zero 4 as the final nail in the coffin, with an entire population of survivors who not only endured, but had in their skins the scars marked by the price of over confidence and war, and at the same time, been the ones who earned the land and the slow and painfull proces of reconstruction was the perfect epilogue for 200 years of massacres and political struggle. ZX and ZXA had to retcon this by creating a generic antagonism for the world just to give some children enough room to play their "good vs evil" games. Although I DO understand why many do like the continuation series, I despise it for the quality of its story and the retcons that had to be done in order to allow it. Then again, Zero 3 was supposed to be the ending of the Zero saga and probably the Megaman storyline, yet Capcom force chocked a 4th game, so Inticreates was forced to kill the main character in order to stop any kind of future direct sequels that would deminish what they wrote for this small series... just to be ordered to create a sequel series wich ended up killing the main canon story not soon afterwards.
Did they really have to attribute an end game story of Zero destroying his original body. Couldn't they have added a special ending or secret mission where zero can regain his original body. Zero losing his original body just forshadowed his demise in the 4th game.
I didn't mind it. With the way MMZ3 ended, it was more about Zero accepting who he is rather than foreshadowing his death in the fourth game. Zero regaining his original body didn't really matter, since while Omega had Zero's full power + the Dark Elf amping him up, he didn't have Zero's skill, experience, or heart. Because of that, the copy body is most certainly the stronger body, since Zero broke its limitations enough (if it had any) that he was able to defeat Omega. You figure anyway that being a copy body, it was at least close enough to the original body that it wouldn't be a big loss if Zero didn't have it any more. By that point he's been rebuilt at least 3 times over too.
I think that's the sole reason why megaman zero 3 story is great. The lesson they gave you that your heart what matters. To put this onto an example, having a muscular body is good but useless if you really use it just to harm other people. That's like zero, despite having the original body, it was nothing more than just a tool to Dr.Weil.
No one will comprehend that zero was already driven by madness he had kept obscure after the death of Iris, making it easy for malicious hack programs to take a hold on him purposely at will, kinda like with Majin Vegeta. From then onward also amplify what Wily wanted Zero to be. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3IPIPLM8ELY.htmlsi=SrUonSdCPaqwjWRH
@@bluefin844 I can tell you I have never played it. I never really cared about the Zero series until rather recently, beyond the fact that I wasn't around when the game was released. There's a lot of factors that come into play with what is and isn't a spoiler for someone. Not everyone's been a fan of Mega Man since 199X.
@@an3_omx You're going to come in here and tell ME I haven't played this fucking game based on the fact that it's 20 years old? I've owned the GBA cartridge. I've owned the collection for the DS. I OWN the Legacy collection my Nintendo Switch. BOTH X and Z/ZX. I've played Megaman Zero 3 more than any other Megaman game. Probably as much as I've played X8/X1. This game is over 20 years old and the plot points have been publicly talked about for that long now. Maybe you're late to the party but you're not going to tell me I've "never played" because I would assume someone who's been playing Megaman to understand how ridiculous it is to point out "massive spoilers" on a 2 decade old gba classic. C'mon now.
@@an3_omx I am so sorry I read that completely wrong. I've been playing this game for too long. But still, it's a very old game at this point. You may not have to be a fan since the very beginning but there's been more than enough time for those events to have been summed up. I wouldn't consider it a massive spoiler anymore personally.
