Date: "So what music do you listen to?" Me: "Uhhhhh I listen to Jazz-Fusion-Rock-Metal." Date: "Ooh, what band does that?" Me: "Uhhhhh... The Maverick Hunters?"
They should've made the Chain Rod like a Whip like in Indiana Jones or Castlevania, like a hard hitting whip as the Charged Hit instead of repeating the Rod Charge Spin Attack from the 1st game.
Yeah, but when I first I played the Zero games (Zero 2 was my first by the way), I used option C to switch weapons like in MegaMan X. I know better now though, but C's definitely the next best thing after that.
Fluffy Milkshake I mean, the rule of picking the stages in the MegaMan games is always start with the top left. But it doesn’t really matter cuz you are free to pick whichever you want first
@@agenericguy1014 the amount of times I pick top left first is very minimal lol, mm1 sometimes with cut man, 11 too maybe with Block Man, X4 for sure with Web spider, X5 with grizzly slash/crescent grizzly. x6 with yammark.. X7 no matter what you pick its top left because the stage select scrolls instead of the curser and Zero 2 with Hyleg. Okay so maybe you have a point but still lol
One of the best songs that I've heard from a game never played. I love this entire soundtrack. Such charm and variety to the compositions, and extremely impressive use of the sound hardware.
Funny thing for me- I started with Megaman Zero 3 All I knew was the more jungle chill version so when z2 'stheme dropped it hit me hard and the next thing I knew I burned down the whole jungle and had a snake robots head at my feet. It was an awesome blur, man
It's been so long since I've played the Zero games that I forgot about the soundtrack save the obvious great ones like Departure or Cannon Ball. Having replayed Z2 in the Legacy Collection, I remember why I tolerated this stage back then. If I was still the Mega Man newbie I was when I got the Zero Collection, I think the Chain Rod usage would've been a major turn-off.
This is so f*cking sick. Always has been. Always will be. Everyone that's made a remix, has failed to surpass the perfection that this track is. Props go to and only to; the original composer. F. The bootlegers that only end up making worse versions. Don't fight what you can't beat. You'l never make a better version than this. Stop trying to play god. This track is god. You can't surpass it. It's already perfect.
And screw you for bitching like a little baby belittling people who put their heart passion and soul into their covers, let’s see you make a good cover buckeroo
I managed to get through this stage in my very first playthrough with PC steam X dive button configuration. (I played this game for the first time 2 weeks ago, Via browser emulator)
You're pretty right, see n myself strange because used set C, also played the zero series on emulator, was very hard doing the other sets on the controller i used :P
I see a good amount of plants in this stage but, wasn't Area Zero the only place on the planet that had natural life at that point in the timeline? Unless those trees were plastic.
I love this theme, it really puts you in the mood to beat some Mavericks up. It's a shame that the Z3 remix absolutely butchered the song and didn't do it any justice at all.
