Rocco Botte, Derrick Acosta, Shawn Chatfield, and Garrett Hunter share what it's been like to make people laugh and entertain their large internet fan base for the last 20 years. @mega64
Legends. I remember finding out about them in 2006 by accident and till this day i own DVDs, clothing, and posters from them. The reason I started working in the film industry have my own business in it
I remember discovering these guys way back in 2005 when a friend brought over the Version 1. DVD. Been a diehard fan since. Can’t wait to see them live next month!
I was introduced to them close to 20 years ago when their skits were included on the DVDs that briefly came with EGM magazine… they made an instant fan out of me and I’m so glad to still be tuning into them whenever something new drops. Best creators on the internet today by far
I still got some PS2 demo discs with mega64 on them. Crazy how time flies. Tons of respect for them for being true to themselves and always striving for bigger things.
Gotta love Mega64. I saw them online pre-RU-vid and kind of forgot about them until 2012ish and I've been a huge fan ever since. Their videos, podcasts, panels, show and movie have kept me entertained for years. Gotta love the community they're built up around them too
I've been fortunate enough to work with Mega64 after being a fan for many years, and I'm happy to see them getting more mainstream recognition - too few realize just how significant their work has been as a pioneering force in internet video content.
I'm local and also interested in working with them in the future. Have a drone license, camera, and a ton of computer hardware with some light editing experience. It's so nice to know that a future exists for filmmakers here in San Diego.
