America is a nation of Church and State, by LAW the Civil Court legalizes unions, the church performs 'religions ceremony called marriage', however the religious ceremony is NOT 'legal' until the authorized pastor signs a 'civil document'. American citizens elect State rep's to Congress, these rep's at the directives of their people make laws (of the people). The US Supreme Court do NOT 'make laws', they interpret the 'intent and purpose' of (the peoples) law. In this instance the Supreme Court made a 'new law', which the US Constitution does NOT give them authority. Each Supreme Court Justice that voted for this (new) law, needs to be impeached and removed from Office..

they didn't make a law, they just said that the 14th amendment (all citizens have equal rights) extends to gay people too. They interpreted the constitution, no laws were passed.

Peace Out Bruh The English word "marriage" is derived from a religious ceremony as a wedding. Civil Courts do not perform religious ceremony, they perform 'Civil Weddings'. With your lack of language skills, would you also like to see a religious "Baptism" performed as an extra???
