Ahh yes, I know East Mids Parkway very well (I live locally at Long Eaton). During the Derby 2018 Resignaling Project, I was stationed at EMP, Long Eaton, Derby, and Burton, assisting folks around the network, and can especially remember one day just before I clocked off for the night, hell was kicking off on the London St Pancras services, Nottingham services running normal route, Derby's was running via the Erewash Valley Line (Toton Sidings) to Chesterfield / Sheffield, or terminating at EMP / Long Eaton. I mostly remember the Megabus Hull / Leeds services (When East Mids Trains was a thing, changing folks onto St Pancras services here) turning up, with one of the Plaxtons having a right hissyfit, chucked a pile of oil out at the pickup point at the main entrance.

The driver showed excellent lane discipline between junction 21 of the M1 (Leicester South) and the Fosse Park Retail Park - in both directions. I wish some of my fellow locals drove as well along that stretch.

Interesting to see the Motorway that I have driven down many times,from a different perspective. Watching how the traffic behaves and at times driving too close to the Cars in front etc etc. Excellent video and good professional driving, I will look out for more of these.

You had mostly a typical british weather during this drive, with a lot of rain. However it was very enjoyable for me. As a small suggestion: maybe you can try to film from inside the cabin during rain, or somehow try to potect the camera from directly receiving rain on the objective. @@flalingbashers2957 You surely get rain also in Germany, even if not as much as in GB. However, for me rain is not shitty weather, every kind of weather has its beauty in my opinion. I enjoy a lot walking in the forest by rain for example.

Why go back to where you just left from? . I think it's stupid having a railway station/interchange by a power station as Parkway is. For saying it's meant to be for East Midlands Airport, it's not even on the EMIA doorstep. London Victoria Coach Station always reminds me of a bus garage when alighting passengers. Nice journey thanks

It's the closest main line to EMA, literally five minutes by shuttle and far easier than building a new railway line. The new line to East Midlands Gateway is freight only and the power station is closing soon anyway so that area is being redeveloped for more business use.

Is it just me, or as we get older are the younger generations getting more and more disrespectful and obnoxious, and simply taking liberties where other people's rights are concerned? What I mean is that on some local service buses around the country, there seems to be notices asking people to keep their mobile phones turned down or if they are wanting to listen to music to put headphones on and make sure that it's not loud. But how many of the passengers, especially younger people actually pay the slightest bit of attention to these signs?
