Absolutely great reaction, I’ve been a diehard Megadeth fan for 30+ years, when I first heard this song I was blown away, it was soo different and amazing, I loved it right away. I always have had the highest respect for Mustaines song writings and musicianship. I would love if you guys can react some music off of Megadeths Dystopia album, in my opinion there best album since Rust in Peace and definitely a top 5 Megadeth album. I love it when bands can bring depth to there music and not just be one style all the time. Sadly fans don't handle those changes very well but that's how bands evolve imo .

Haven't heard this song in a looooooong time, but the past few days it has been an earworm, and only now have got around to listening. So glad to see this reaction.

You should pay a listen to songs like: - Time: The beginning - Forget to remember - Family tree Extremely underrated and unpopular songs but once you hear them closely and look at the lyrics they stick forever. Megadeth always have those hidden corners when you end up discovering a new side of the band. I think that's why I consider them as the best metal band ever, because they've been able to greatly surpass the limits of genre.

Dave is an amazing human being. I love the songs he writes and riffs and solos and etc. he makes it where the listener can relate to from his personal life and he brings so much to the table he is an amazing musician and awesome human being.

I love this song. To me it has always seemed so genuine and emotional. I don’t rank it among their best, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it.

I forgot what an awesome song this was. Dystopia is their best album since Rust in Peace. The title track is one you have to cover. Also, from the United abominations album Never Walk Alone is a must review as well. This is coming from a 30 year Megadeth fan who has all of their albums.

This is like my favourite megadeth song now, One day I decided to explore more megadeth and albums and after being extremely disappointed with risk, I heard the world needs a hero for the first time, and couldn’t fathom why people hate this album, I fu king loved it and when o heard this song I replayed it 4 times before going to the next song

After listening to that cd years back I dont remember this tune... only 2 I remember from this album is moto psycho and the world needs a hero... This album came out around or was the last album they put out around the time dave had the nerve damage and the band had just about broken up

For me "So far so good" is their ride the lightning.

This is such a fantastic song. It has one of my favorite things, where there's a dichotomy in the styles - the baller distortion and the clean gentle guitar. Risk would have been great as a Nirvana or Pearl Jam album. But not a great thrash metal band.

I haven't listened to them in the post-Friedman era, largely due to my personal distaste for some of Dave's beliefs but I realize in listening to this that it's *sometimes, not always* better to eschew the big picture ideas and just appreciate art for what it is. This is a good song, again despite my counter-ideology to some of the lyrical content and some of the hair-band-esque qualities to the chorus. Wilhelm Richard Wagner is a perfect example of disregarding the artists ideology in favor of their art. Recover thoroughly, and swiftly Mr Mustaine.

Just finished reading Sweating Bullets by Martin Popoff so I had to get in on this one. Megadeth is my favorite from the thrash genre, they keep me on my toes. Mustaine is Mustaine. Love him or hate him, you gotta respect the skills. For me, this tune is mediocre. Didn't really care for it, but they can't all be winners... Anyway, top 3 Megadeth tunes for today are Cold Sweat (Thin Lizzy cover), Holy Wars (of course) and Post American World. Honorable mention goes to Chris Poland for his Metalopolis solo album and Damn The Machine project. PEACE!!!
