I get why he didn't, but I also get why he changed his mind. Now, I wish he would put Go To Hell back on the set list, because that is such an underrated Megadeth song.
@@bdre5555 what record is go to hell on ive never heard it but I’m pretty positive I’ve listened to all 15 studio albums is it on one of their compilation?
I would pay a ticket to hear The Conjuring live, even if Dave was dead while singing it....One of the heaviest Metal songs ever, and one of the best riffs of all times in the end.....
If you notice, his solo on recent My last words performance is also much better than when he did it in 2010. I know its last minute request from Lars but he seems completely forgot the solo at the time.
I wish Dave sang like he did in the 90s, he didn’t had a good voice, but matched megadeth aggressive music perfectly, now he suffers while singing, but still has an evil voice tone or something, really cool
Yeah, I really miss his old voice. His vocals were at their best in the 90s. Like you said, he was NEVER a good singer, but his voice paired well with Megadeth's fast, aggressive thrash. The neck surgery he had several years ago and the aging process have definitely taken their toll(the man is 57 now!). He at least sounds better here. Someone else in the comments said he's been working with a voice coach recently.
Back surgery, through his throat fucked his voice. He is very upset about that emotionally, and now is fighting throat cancer. Coincidence? I think not.
Honestly this is the best lineup since Marty and Nick. Nobody can touch those two, but Kiko has such a unique style and can play pretty much anything, and Dirk is just a monster. His snare hits also sound a lot like Nick's, tight and powerful as hell. This lineup is something special, which hasn't really happened since the 90's.
@@mrrandomcarp2799 The line up is good (clearly the best lead since Marty) but the D tuning is killing the Megadeth vibe. Megadeth, for me, has never been about heaviness (most of similar bands eat them for breakfast on this point) but about melody, speed, jazzy style. And the D tuning makes them sound like your average poser nu metal band. For me Megadeth music is like a shiny badass bird you can't catch, the bird can't fly if it's too heavy, if the tone is too dull and muddy, if Dave can't sing high, if the drums drown everything else in the mix.
Yep, best line up since the 90's line up. Dave vocal still good for someone of his age , considering he had to sing it while playing intricate riffs, solos plus had major neck surgery.
Daves got high mileage yet still runs like a champ with low maintnence. He sounds like He Could use a couple new spark plugs and an oil change. But gets the job done non the less. Reliable and trustee gets you from point a to point be of the show.
Hopefully he'll able to improve them, however he has had neck surgery that has been the single factor in killing his voice. I never heard about him blowing his voice like Hetfield. Some bits in this performance he sounds good, especially when he chants "I have your soul".
They finally got the mix right! Hellfest mix was awful. Period. Bloodstock mix was much better but you couldn't here Dave's guitar. Now you an here the whole band!
Dude wtf I barely see any movement from the crowd yeah dave may not be in his prime but fuck it's still megadeth and still lol fucking the conjuring!!!!
He changed his mind. I don't know where he is spirituality but he is being honest with his past. It's probably cathartic to play this song to make peace with the old Dave?!. Idk! but it sounds great!
