I was at this show and even tho Jason is an animal on this song he is not embarrassing himself at all. This was the last show on this gigantour and everyone was pumped from every band. He was just having a good time with megadeth
I'm happy that jason's attitude hasn't changed like the other members of metallica, I guess cuz of their families.. and jason doens't have a wife or a child
LA MEJOR VERSION EN VIVO DE PHANTOM LORD QUE HE ESCUCHADO EN MI VIDA...QUE IRONIAS TIENE LA VIDA .DOS GRANDES EX MIEMBROS DE METALLICA HACIENDO LA MEJOR VERSION DE PHANTN LORD....GRANDES NEWSTED Y MUSTAINE
I was there too.. Loved the show, and I'm one of the I guess fewer ones that actually like the song super collider and was dissapointed they didn't play it live.. :(
It's Jason bro, he has energy coming out of everywhere, if Dave ever showed this our brains would explode and the matter known as reality would implode.
wow, that was fairly awesome! Weird as hell however seeing Jason cutting about without a bass guitar around his neck! To me its right up there with seeing James without a guitar with singing (e.g Stone Cold Crazy with Queen and Iommi at the Freddie tribute gig)
Damn Jason. That's all I can say. Sick stuff. He is still kind of green as being in the front but his energy is raw and powerful. Give him some polishing and fine tuning and in two years he will be unstoppable.
You can also see him coaching Shawn Drover on his drum parts on the recording of Super Collier videos they put out on their RU-vid channel. As well as him saying he is impressed with his drumming on the album and that he was really pushing him on this record. In press interviews for the album.
This is so beautiful... all the mutual love aside from all the shit that's thought of and assumed by the public.. brings metal tears to my eyes. This was the only time the song is played full live (aside from the big 4) since like the mid 80's.
Rob who? Irelleventallica who? THIS was an awesome show - I was there - 10 feet from the guy who filmed this. Jason and Dave rocked the ground and this was the culmination of 6+ hours heavy hitting metal. Gigantour 2013 kicked ass bad and this was Dave and Jason's moment. If you wanna talk about 'tallica go discuss their new 2013 album with the same songs from the 80s and 90's with Jason - which they re-released 156 times so far. Rob is just someone to hold the bass, while James does his thing.
