Funny how this is a special event now. This is how I caught Mastodon 4-5 times back in the day. My personal fav was a "house show" they played. The house was technically a venue, but was in a neighborhood in the middle of the ghetto. Good times!! ❤️
@@Jeffmetal42 growing up on Long Island that’s how I saw Glassjaw and Vision of Disorder back in the day… would have loved to have been around ATL to see them back then.
@@Placesandthingsonvacation I caught them in NW Louisiana. They came through there fairly frequently. Ofc after they blew up w Leviathan they began playing bigger venues and the rest is history. It's a trip when you see a band coming up and then later they're playing stadiums. Saw Lamb of God play for 20 ppl in the same small venue I saw Mastodon in one of the times they came through.
This is just Amazing!!! How lucky could you get? Just saw the opening show for ashes of the Leviathan in Dallas!!! It was great...but this is personal!!!🤘🤘🤘
@@Placesandthingsonvacation I guess that could be something that would kill the vibe on stage. Any time you run old school pedals and tube amps it's hit or miss in the reliability department.
