Love this video! Awesome that you took the time to add the cleaned up tooth video right after you picked up the teeth under water! It is amazing seeing the Megalodon teeth several million years after they went extinct.

OMG that is awesome stuff!! Three million years old?? What a fantastic dive! So you're kinda like a Shawn Cousteau eh? Very cool. ⚓⚓⚓😎

Hi Shawn, Fun watching you gather your trophies and reach another certification level. A long time ago I had the opportunity to become certified. That was when Jacque Cousteau had a weekly TV show about the Undersea World that inspired a lot of us to become explorers. Great hobby. As always, thanks for sharing.

I really liked this one. Lots of channels show nothing but straight work. I'm happy to see the fruits of your labor paying off in recreation.

Wow!! Shawn the condition of those teeth is amazing! to see fossils in a museum that were carefully excavated over years, even decades, and the fact these teeth are fully intact, and literally unearthed, and right there is surreal. I'm not even a biologist, and i was in awe, and excited watching you find these. I had never heard of this place, but now it's on my bucket list to dive there!

I am Open Water Certified, have a PADI license, but I doubt I will ever dive again. It was worth it for the experience, and really need to go to the Bahamas. Water looks pretty good for off the coast of the mainland. Yes, I have only been to 70 feet.

Man that looked like some good vis on that dive and good teeth hunting. My dive instructor used to go to the Cooper River shark teeth diving where they dealt with low vis and bad current. Cool video 💪

WAY....... WAY...... WWWWAAAAYYYYY COOL!!!!! I'm on the west coast and I don't think we have a dive like that (Megalodon teeth). I may have to catch a plane to NC to do that! I'm sure I'll turn into an eight year old and just say WOW! a lot. Very Cool. Keep doing these videos as well! :)

If you like snorkeling you'll LOVE diving. I knew I was going to be hooked since I like snorkeling so much. The first 15 feet are the most problematic when diving. Once you get down there's less of a change. Go dive!

That was all right. Really cool. Something different for sure. Yeah. Hope to see more in the future. I got a bunch of shark teeth that are a little small ones there. I think they were from Florida originally. But yeah I got them as a present years ago. Yeah that's all right 👍👍🙂🇨🇦

You have the coolest hobby. What's the red stuff that is on the plants and rocks on the bottom? Looks like algae to me but you are a lot closer to a marine biologist than i am. Just marveling at how much light filters down 100ft.

As a former diver who hasn’t dove in over 20 years, what is your bottom time at 100’ and how long and how many stops when surfacing? Wrote this half way through video and didn’t realize you answered my questions👍🏻

When I got certified in 1970, one of the BIG and most important rules is to NEVER DIVE ALONE; always have a BUDDY. The buddy system. I am rather disappointed in you for that.
@GCFD
@GCFD Год назад
Solo diving is not that you're alone diving in the middle of nowhere. It's more a certification to give you skills to be your own buddy. Fully redundant air and the skills to use it. As as solo diver I'm my first buddy and any other divers around me also have two buddies (since I have two air supplies). It's funny though Roy, the solo training spoke badly about the buddy system and promoted relying on yourself.
