I think she is a lifetime and pathological liar but I don’t think she’s a good one. She is as transparent as can be, her lips start moving and the lies start. If she talks long enough she contradicts herself and her stories are so outlandish, you can see right through them.
Even if Meghan’s silly story about Palmolive soap or not, it doesn’t make Meghan a feminist as she claims. Meghan couldn’t make herself famous without marrying a Prince.

It is my understanding that the infamous soap letter was actually a class assignment. The entire class wrote their own letter but with his connections, Meghan’s father engineered a response to her letter so that she would feel special.

Megan's story doesn't ring true because Hillary C wasn't 1st lady the time that letter was wrote. I also read that her father was responsible for the response letter she received.
She's a legend in her own mind regarding everything she does. It was a class project. Katie Couric, another wannabe icon, asking Meghan to tell the story again, was a complete set-up. What a crock.

If she actually had the letter, she'd have it framed and would be showing it off at any opportunity. A refusal to comment from Hiliary just means it never happened.
She was shut down rather quickly by Brooke Shields' quip "when I was 11, I was playing a prostitute" --- it was hilarious and Brooke's timing was perfect. I don't think it was much appreciated by the one who likes to blow her own trumpet.

If I'm not mistaken, that was a class project. I used to work in customer service for one of the largest consumer product companies in the world. We got thousands of letters complaining or complementing our products. Believe me, we would not have taken advice from an 11 year old. She might have gotten a generic form letter back generated by a computer or punched tape saying thank you for contacting us, and none of the decision makers would ever have seen her letter. I sent out literally thousands of that type letter myself.
Good for you, Neil, for asking that question. Even her dad said there was no letter. That said, it's my understanding that he told her that Hillary did write back. And we've been hearing about it ever since!

Thomas Markle said that, no she didn’t get any replies from politicians or celebs. It was a class project, and the kids had to write letters! He felt sorry Ms Markle, and fixed it for her to go on Nickelodeon (tv kids program), and HE replied to her letter incognito! She knows now, but keeps wheeling out “her” truth, which, of course isn’t THE truth!
Thomas Markle did what he thought to be a good thing for his daughter. Unfortunately, it has backfired, like most of what he did for his ungrateful daughter! He spoilt her, probably didn't discipline her at all, and now she has nothing to do with him. The moral of the story is, teach ALL children how to respect their parents and others. Love and respect go hand in hand!
Lady C says that Megan's father made that letter up and gave her as a response to the one she wrote. He wanted to make her think she was successful in writing to Hilliary.
It takes time to change a tv commercial. It isn’t done overnight. She was part of a class project and many schools participated at the time. For her to say she changed the advert is ridiculous. She really lives in the past. Guess she hasn’t accomplished anything since then.
Katie Couric looked absolutely ridiculous asking MM to speak about the soap commercial. IMO - I’m sure Katie Couric was told to ask MM that question during this panel discussion so MM could pontificate about it once again.
You are 100% correct. ALL correspondence to the White House is recorded and archived. Anyone writing to the white house is added to the Christmas card list. My Father wrote to the late Queen Elizabeth when Charles and Andrew were having “issues” with their families. He wrote something to the effect that she was a good parent and that similar issues are going on with all families around the world. He received a VERY nice letter from someone saying that the Queen appreciated his kind words of support. My sister and I found it with his belongings when we were organizing stuff after his death. We received tickets to attend the White House Easter egg “roll” with our son in 2000. My son was given a commemorative painted wooden egg and an official poster of the event. He still has those keepsakes. People keep things like that and cherish them all of their lives. If the letter existed, she would have it framed. Meghan embellishes many tales. The only reason she isn’t called out is because she may be useful at some time. The lion king dancer story, the climbing through the trunk story, the Ellen dog story ( proven a lie by actual emails exchanged between her and the pound to try to convince them to give her a dog. It outlines her entire dog adoption journey.

If I'd received a letter from the White House, I'd have kept it. I have a letter from ex-South African cricketeer, Barry Richards from the 1970's which I still have plus a signed photo from Lawrie McMenemy. I got the latter because I'd knitted a Guardsman doll & my Mum encouraged me to send it Lawrie as he was an ex-Guardsman.
Hello Neil, I'm afraid that Thomas Markle has a lot to answer for in his quest to make his daughter feel special. We all know that it was the whole class who had to write letters and they were no doubt sent off together in one envelope.... Funny how ever single correspondence between every President and First Lady is dated, catalogued, and in our archives. ESPECIALLY any reply the First Lady would have sent out.
In other words Neil, Hillary may find a use for her in the future, so she will keep her response to herself, and tuck it away. She can always agree to the response at some point in the future after Meghan has done something for hillary. Just don't ask what that may be. 😥😮!!!!
I remember HC's piling on the RF following the Oprah interview. She was vicious with her insults, which to me indicates her true feelings towards the UK. I wonder if she feels sheepish now.
