This deck could very well focus on Gallantmon and/or Gallantmon X, but that's what everyone is already doing so I wanted to feature a twist that highlights our favourite demonic dragon Megidramon instead! After all, this set IS called Dragon's Roar. But as to how he got involved in this Dorbickmon series... The truth is out. The ultimate mastermind behind Dorbickmon's rebellion is Megidramon of the Four Great Dragons. Unwilling to surrender his position to the new generation, he ignited flames of hate and rage in Dorbickmon's heart and convinced him to attack the crowning ceremony with his brothers. In fact, joining the other Four Great Dragons to take down Gamma Dorbick was all part of his plan so he can have an easier time taking down the chief Dorbickmon once the chaos is over. Now that Megidramon has revealed his true colours, the situation reaches a deadlock with 2 remaining factions on each side (Examon & the 3 Great Dragons against chief Dorbickmon & Megidramon). However... things take a turn when Hina, Volcanicdramon and Metallicdramon are suddenly enveloped in light. With the seal on dark Imperialdramon renewed, their mission is complete and the fragments of their data now return to the archive of digital memories, perhaps never to awaken again. Meanwhile, Chaosdramon and Darkdramon decide they would rather be off completing missions for clients than sitting on a mountain all day handing out trials to lower dragon Digimon, so they up and leave. So by default... the Four Great Dragons and Dragon Emperor will retain their current positions. His reason to fight vanished, Megidramon sheepishly returns to the Great Dragons as Goldramon whacks him on the head. The tournament concluded, all the dragon/dramon spectators pack up and go home, leaving a bewildered Dorbickmon standing in the silent darkness of the Arena between his two fallen brothers, wondering what in the world just happened... And so peace was restored to the Digital World once more... oR hAs It??? It seems whatever being called the Links Dragons back to fend off dark Imperialdramon might have made a bit of a miscalculation. The energy required to bring life, albeit temporary, back to lost data was too much for the current server to handle. Cracks have formed in the fabric of space-time, allowing data to spill forth from other dimensions. These cracks have only worsened with the impact from the battles of the Dragon's Roar Arena, so be warned... A Dimensional Phase is imminent. tO bE cOnTiNuEd
I love how your commenting and editing makes the gameplay really hype and anime-like and also how you explain what's going on with clear detail Looking forward to see more
Yes, Regalecusmom! That's easily my favourite card in the game for it's insane resource generation so seeing it after all this powercreep again put a big smile on my face! After all this time I never really understood what the design philosophy behind Megidramon was. It was this awkward half Gallant/Chaos Gallant that did neither of those decks main plays and had a different, unsupported wincon. I have now seen the deck with Crimson Mode and I am filled with enlightened understanding - I legit want to give this a try now.
LOVE BT5 Regalecus! Used to run a deck built around him back in the BT5 days, and I honestly think he's 1 of the better choices to run in a generic Aegisdra build if not committing to Wha or Pirani combo shenanigans
"When we gonna get Megidra X tho" is a line that Duke crimson mode could possibly say. A bit sad that Aegisdra couldn't put a good fight to atone for its performance on the dragon roar tournament, but this megidra deck, with you toying with us speaking all the time "if gallantmon from bt2 comes, if gallantmon bt2 does this" etc etc, to finish with "who ever said that this deck was focused on gallantmon?", great move and nice trolling 😆 Please keep this way, your videos are absolutely fantastic and enjoyable. By the way, a cardfight exhibition match of the newly released cards from D-BT7, sounds good? I'd love to see more vanguard matches in your channel
Dang, what a rough match up for Aegisdramon... a deck that wants to spam out its digivolution cards as new Digimon against a deck that punishes low level Digimon. Almost makes me think the deck should run Sora & Mimi, that way they're punished by you gaining memory even if they don't have lower level Digimon out 😂 But man, hadn't clicked on the synergy between the new two colour Guilmon line with Crimson Mode... that's just evil.
The ex3 megidramon support looks like it could mesh pretty well with beelzemon, on evolve trash 3 from wargrowlmon seems pretty strong, plus it interferes with the opponent's deck too
I dont think it works that well here cos of the WarGrowls being Cyborg and Guils being Reptile, so I made the decision to commit to a pure build instead!
@@rustmarrow Yeah I know, I was just making fun of all the Dorbickmon content you have been throwing out lately. Its good stuff though, been recommending it around. Especially with hexeblaumon 👌
