Thank you for this tremendous shiur! It was eye-opening to realize it's not just ''his/her problem''! We are all connected!

Thank you again for another beautiful shiur...I was just wondering - how on earth could Shimshon ever have been considered a possible Mashiach? Even I know - and I'm no gadol, not even a regular rabbi! that Mashiach HAS to come from Shevet Yehuda, and Shimshon was from Shevet Dan?

Thank you. That is a very good question. There were times in history when Hashem rerouted His plans because he felt that the person born was significantly special and the nature of his soul was extraordinary. For example: King Shaul, is neither from the line of Yehudah - yet when the Jewish people requested a king, Hashem searched for a person and found that Shaul was the perfect candidate although he had not descended from tribe of Yehudah. It does not happen often, but when or IF it does, it is only with Hashem's specific command and instruction.
