Hi Niam, think this was in December and the temperature was 12c, I draw a line these days at 7c as it's just hard work as you will know 👍

@@peteshobbies5383 I left a freind to slowly use the heat gun to dry some primer and upon my return, he kept moving around in front of me. When I pushed him out the of the way. I found that he had burnt the primer. It was like the top of cooked cauliflower and cheese!!!! LOL. Yes youdo have to keep the heat gun moving. But to do that he must have fallen asleep..... Silly fool. LOL.

Hi Pete. Ive been meaning to ask how you film and keep the overspray off your camera? I tried filming with my cell phone. Even on a tripod several feet away I still got some overspray but I was able to rub it off. Maybe my gopro in a waterproof case?

Hi Marc, That's a good question because it isn't easy sometimes 😄. I have a gopro type camera on my head, it's not in a case as I found that caused problems with the heat from your head fogging up the inside of the case, simply because the temperature change caused moisture inside to to stick to the lens or outside to do the same depending on temperature and humidity. So, I just have a painting camera, it gets dirty but as long as the lens is cleanable by thinners or alcohol, so it needs to be glass basically and not have any anti flective coating on it you should be fine. Last year, I got a new camera, and it's really difficult putting all that money on your head, knowing it will be rubbish in a few weeks 😂 The worst bit about it for me is you often think more about the camera than what you're doing, which obviously isn't good, but you will get used to it. omg, never seen this before... you can twist the reservoir... so perfect to spray a sealing 🤌 Been looking for this for ages and wondered, why no brand have something to spray the sealing (except 3M with the pps 2.0)

Hi Pete, that looks a cracking gun mate what with the low pressure and relatively low CFM it has to be an ideal gun for the DIY user plus you could see there was little overspray compared to the clouds that our guns chuck out😆 The F110L laid the clear on really nice, you could see it was quite a fast gun as it was putting a nice wet coat on and with the low pressure the finish was really nice, it looked like it laid the base on nice and smooth as well so what's not to like👌 I've heard of a few people that use a microwave to heat their paint which is a good idea and if I had the space for one in my workshop I would do the same, I use a twin pot wax heater they are the ideal size to hold those 1L clearcoat tins and heat it up to around 30C, I liked the colour you used mate do you have a code for it😁 thanks Pete👏👍

Hi John, this is a joy to use, as you can see it gives a great finish, is reasonably fast being a 1.5, and is well made with low overspray, all for a little over £200, as you say, what's not too like 😀 I think the 1.3 would be a good base gun and 1.5 for clear but the 1.5 coped well with it all, to be honest.a I'll try and dig my notes out of the bin, the notes should be there with the colour as I was going to mention it but forgot 😳

These days paying £200 for a good spray gun is cheap when your paying more than twice the price for a top end gun but are they twice as good... I think not🤔 Both rolls of my extraction filters arrived today, for what they cost I could have bought a half decent gun😒 but I have to keep the neighbours happy I'm good that way😇😎 but I did consider sending them the bill🤔🤣 Ok mate if you find the code let me know as I do like the colour, thanks Pete👍

Hi John, well having emptied my bin I now have the code 😀 😉, it's Honda Kona Coffee Blackish Titanium YR600M. You are right, paying 200 quid for a gun is cheap these days I guess, especially when it's as good as this one , cheers mate 👍

Does Meiji make a side cup gun thats considered a full size gun like the finer core? Im waiting for delivery of a finer core and cant figure out if all there side cup guns are considered to be mini/midi. Thanks Pete

Hi David, as far as I know, all their side cup guns are midi size. They are similar size wise to the Kiwami1 , W101 Iwatas

Another good video, thanks for sharing ..... How much did you pay for that gun (in pounds)? .... I'm using the Liquid Glass top coat and some people say that's a nightmare but I've never had a problem at all. I'm impressed with that little gun though, lovely fan of spray on it ;-)

I used to like the Quartz Liquid Glass UHS clearcoat but haven't used it for a long while, the Quartz Crystal Clear was also nice for a MS clear👍

Hi Dave, they are around 200 GBP, I bought 3 guns at the same time so am only going from memory, it was before they had a price increase as well. The F110 is much cheaper, I have that as well

How long does it take for your order to arrive to UK from painting tools Japan? From the time of ordering?

Hi buddy, the shipping time is between 2 and 4 days. It depends on who they use, I've had from DHL, and Fed Ex, the former being the fastest. This gun at the time had to be ordered as I don't think they keeped it, which added a few days. Normally, if you order something, it will be with you within a week. Sometimes its is 2 days in total

Hi buddy, it's more of a Midi size gun, will handle a few panels without problems, this tank takes around 230ml of clear for the top only to give you an idea 👍
