Joshua Myers Hey there's nothing wrong with only liking the drumming. There's also nothing wrong with liking the music more or less than the drumming it's just an opinion. I personally like both although I do think there are drummers who could have blended better with the music with their playing style; nothing against Damien, he is amazing.

With the wires off simulates a 14 floor tom. He played it in some fills. With them on its the "fat" snare sounding evryone is playing nowadays

And now hip hop artists and teenagers use it. It's in the same category as swag, yolo, fam, fleek etc. Each to their own I suppose... Point being I'm not a fan of this video. He is talented yes, but it seems he is throwing everything possible into the song...making it sound muddled and unmusical. If being " woke" means liking this, then I am most certainly not.
