Since no one with the company is answering the questions here… There is a USB port on the unit that allows you to use software from the website to import one wave file of your choice. The "manual" is literally a single page.
Also, the FX10 and it's newer model, also without a snare drum, is sloping, which is ok if you're sitting down, but if, like most guitarists, you're standing, your foot is constantly slipping down the pedal. I made a plnth for mine, from cardboard and beer mats so it was like a Gem Cry Baby and you could stand with your foot on top and added a strip of Skateboard tape for extra grip and so, with no sliding.
The Drum Port Laser Stomp has Snare Drum and High Hat, plus you can play a complete drum beat on it with your foot or set it on Auto! A volume and tempo control would be a great addition.
The Roland SPD1 Kick looks a much better option with more sounds and more sound control, but still no snare drum! That should be the number one sound on a drum effects pedal.
I didn't like the 'angle' of the SDP1 and made my foot ache when playing standing up. A regular pedal and a Roland KD7 triggering a bass drum sound I found much better. Most people play these sitting down, but if you play standing up it's a completely different scenario...
