He rode a blazing saddle, he wore a shining star his job to offer battle to bad men near and far. He conquered fear and he conquered hate he turned our night into day. He made his blazing saddle a torch to light the way.

Not true concerning cut scenes. There are two I know of. One was an extension of Cleavon's scene with Madeline in her dressing room after the lights went out and another was during Korman's death scene at the theater. It was a very small snip, but still worth leaving in. Oh yeah, the deleted scenes of Bart tricking Mongo.

Correct. The scene taken out with Cleavon little was when the lights turned out and Lilly asked it is true about you people, and started kissing and sucking while saying oh it's try it's true! And Cleavon says I'm sorry to disappoint you baby but your sucking on my arm! Lol what a classic.

It's funny yes, but I think Mel Brooks was right to cut it out. It squashes the set up for creating the audience's mental image of a giant penis ("It's twue! It's twue!"), then the fade in to a huge sausage with Madeline Kahn saying, "Vood you like another schnitzengruben?" which brings a much bigger belly laugh. Mel Brooks was right to edit that joke.
