I'm 76. In '52, I was 7. I've been a pro entertainer all my life and this song has made people cry, loving it every time I do it. Love it like mad - and I'd rather hear Mel do it than do it myself! He's so fantastic!

Absolutely wrong...just like the smell of books in the old libraries and the feel of the grammar school environment that we once attended...the "real" music venues hold that same special meaning. So, it's good to hear you held onto yours. I miss the grand way we were once held, kissed, and thrilled--because even romance is no longer the same. However, I simply miss the old days period! As someone mentioned before, it brings back emotions of love and sadness for me. Danced this with my high school sweetheart back in 1966. Within the next year her mother made her break up with me because I was “too wild”. Still have feelings for her today, even though I haven’t seen or heard from her in 55 years.
