Mel Gibson just goes with what the people go for. It's a historical act for him. When he was slamming all those "racist rants"...people got mad and they got over it. Full circle is his skillset.
I don't know if he was talking about 2016 or 2020... I guess 2016 based on this video but same thought was true in 2020 and will likely be the same in 2024
Trump is pro evangelical, pro Church, pro life. Even if you don't like how he speaks, if you don't back his religious freedom agenda, you can't claim you're religious anything, especially Christian.
His lifestyle and ethics are not examples of Christian values. The guy got three marriages and he jokes about sexual assault on women. He cannot lead with compassion he has to insult everybody. He demands respect but he does little for others. If you put someone like that in the presidential position it is not going to work. But at least he does defend religious liberty and freedom of expression.
