born in 1979, I remember the first Lethal Weapon in 1987..I was 8..I wouldn't trade my childhood years for anything. I'm seen the best, and those years were the best.
Yea it's interesting how some people when they come to the USA and after living there long enough, the accent can fade like his did cuz he did an interview in 2000 and his Aussie accent is basically gone but here it's quite fresh. I know a guy whos from Ireland and lived here for almost a decade. His accent is still heavy lol. It's just fascinating that's all.
i think it's fascinating about arnold schwartzenegger accent. he left his homeland long ago and barely ever returns, there couldn't be an austrian more american than arnold and yet he still has the thick accent.
@d12rules is there an aussie accent ? as I know Australians speaks British English...& actually British English is THE ORIGINAL English...so he just used the American English ....btw he is an American ..was born in Peekskill, NY.
Some people seem to think that Mel is Australian, he's not, he was born in upstate New York, he came to live in Australia with his family when he was 12 years old, so at 12 and going to school in Australia he's going to pick up the local accent, even in Mad Max you can hear bits of his American accent.
...Born in '86? you're a 90's kid- I was born '92, I'm a 90's kid as well. As for kids '95 and upwards, it must suck to be them. Trapped at home, playing video games 24-7. Parents these days are WAY too overprotective.
I too love his hair long! This new shaved look for EOD...well let's just say...I can see it in a roll....BUT...grow it back Mel. LOL.... Signed, The lover of men with longer hair. :D
