Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) has a rich history on the Space Coast. In 1925, the U.S. Post Office contracted the air mail service with Florida Airways under the Kelly Act. What is now the Melbourne Orlando International Airport was designated a fueling stop in 1928 when a Pitcairn Aircraft landed on a cow pasture strip north of Kissimmee Highway

It was only that busy because of the TUI international flights. Thats what the busses are for. They drop off all TUI flyers. I work here at Dunkin. Love our little airport ❤

That airport looks as useless as the Daytona Beach airport. When they did away with the CAB they should have closed a few of these older ones. Sanford-Orlando and Orlando International Airport has Central Florida covered. And Melbourne is such a short ride to OIA.

Yeh, you do not understand....... Only 2 ppl in front of me in security line 15 mins .....at the gate Luggage claim easy and nearby Arrive back home..... I come out door and can see my car right there in parking lot And .....if wind is right you get to fly right over your neighborhood taking off or landing! No schlepping along for miles (it seems) or having to ride shuttles Yeh, Disney peeps can have big ole MCO/OIA A real treat well worth the extra 80 bux ticket
