I’m gonna assume you don’t play melee, because that is simply game audio, I believe for when one player recovers very close to the other. You can hear the exact same sound at 8:01, and there is definitely no crowd there

The whole debate was "It doesn't make Ice Climbers broken/Too powerful" vs "it's boring AF" AND/OR "players just fundamentally should not be able to kill off of one grab". I think the vast majority of people, including pro-wobbling people to my knowledge, think wobbling is boring. But then again, being boring alone usually isn't a reason for a ban.

wobbling and limited ledge stalling, both cases came down to extremely boring matches which kills views which kills revenue which means.. tourneys ban. And it's good for everybody, except players who need cheese to succeed.

iirc, wobbling wasn't an issue in the top level as ice climbers neutral wasn't very good. Main reason they banned it is that wobbling outright ruined mid level and lower fights in certain regional and local tournaments.
