This is the first time I have seen Chris sing properly. He sang in tvd, as kai, ofc but that was mostly goofy and that in godawful way on supergirl 😂❤️
Heather Gill my guess is that he doesn’t care to sing. He said to be pretty shy with sing. I think he sang because it was a good cause. Or his wife begged him to.
He's said before in an interview he doesn't have the full vocal range for Broadway, though he did off-Broadway and finds musical theater too tiring which is why he switched to tv acting. But I wish he would do non-musical theater if it's possible to do that. I don't know if Broadway does non-musical plays though.
Yup. He majored in musical theater in college, has been acting/singing/dancing/making his own films for years and is even a trained opera singer. He is massively talented, always has been, always will be.
When she started singing I forgot for a second that she was on glee (and can sing!). Now I remember. I certainly do. Love this couple. Though I am slightly offended I wasn’t invited to their wedding.

Anyone who says they don't know Chris could sing, watch this, it's a compilation of some of his musical theater work from school and from plays he did after. He has a BFA from Elon University in NC (same school Grant went to) and sings, dances, plays several musical instruments, is even trained in operatic singing. The song is "The Flesh Failures (Let The Sunshine In)" from the musical Hair, lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. Hair debuted off-Broadway in 1967, on Broadway in 1968, and had a film adaptation released in 1979. Most people are familiar with the "let the sunshine in" chorus from the 5th Dimension 1969 recording "Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In" which is a mashup of two songs from the Hair soundtrack, which also happened to be the first and last songs.
