We recommend drilling holes in your vehicle only if you have the expertise - and confidence! If you don't feel comfortable, the magnet mounts are more than enough to get the job done 😄

Yea, me too! Just place a back-order for the Overlander and the Wouxun KG-1000G Plus GMRS Base/Mobile Two Way Radio. The radio is in stock, and was told the antenna will be back in stock around mid-April. Going in my 2013 Ram 2500 4x4.

Yep! The Overlander is designed to work with most mobile GMRS radios, so the FME to UHF Male PL259 adapter included with it should be able to connect to the MXT575's SO-239 UHF Female connector 👍 You can find more info on the MXT575's specifications on its product page: www.buytwowayradios.com/midland-mxt575.html
