My guess to why they include a mirror (even though smaller than the palette mirror) is that many influencers use handheld mirrors in content (not just in the actual review) and a logo mirror being used is like free bonus ad content.

I had the same thoughts on the green liner! I thought I was losing it because so many people either claimed it was perfect or didn't mention the performance at all - but the liner leaves visual streaks/cracks when layered up and I was starting to think maybe it was just me! Such a shame because it was the item I wanted most and it doesn't perform like all of their other liners I own (though I will give them this: they did mention this before launch that the formula is sheer. I just didn't think multiple layers and some prayers sheer).

Thanks for showing the struggle of this creative process. It was a nice reminder that sometimes your original idea doesn't pan out and that's okay. Also when you were trying the red lip without taking the dark liner off your top lip it looked like you had an adorable Gomez Addams mustache lol. It was also really nice to see the look with both your hair and the wig. It's interesting how much that can change the overall vibe.

The more reviews I watch the more I realize this collection is beyond my skill level. Given my basic skills every eye would look the same given the similar shades in each palette. The gels I would use, and while I love the lippies I would never actually wear given I am a super basic lip colour person. From every single review I have watched, yours I enjoyed the most and really felt I could dig deeper into understanding how to make most of this collection 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I would love to see you do more looks with this collection. Love the artistry. Felt like an art class and not a makeup tutorial 😛

Would love to see a look with the grey shadows and dark green lipstick! Also, I don't think you should apologise for struggling. You were very polite about the whole thing - let's be honest, a lot of things in this collection were not thought though: the identical violet shades, only very dark reds (almost similar too), the non matching red lipstick, a bunch of pink lip products when it's lacking more options etc. If you have a *collection*, it shouldn't be difficult to match your eyes and lips 🤷🏼‍♀️

💜💚💜💚 I appreciate this video, it's not a mess... it's helpful as there are times, I open a new palette and I'm at a loss. So many pretty shades that it overwhelms me and my mind goes blank. I am dying for those lip colors and the red shades! This collection scares me a bit though... I am not a bright shadow kind of girl, especially not chartreuse. You always slay with your looks, no matter how long it takes you to get there! 💜💚💜💚

30:30. SAME! I cannot figure out where this year has gone! At the beginning of lockdown in early March I had just found out I was pregnant. Now I have a 6 week old. Mind blown! im so glad that you siad that you just "wing it". i get asked alot how i choose the colors, and tbh sometimes i think the colrs just jump on to my face. i normally only plan what palette or what color but its the shadow that chooses the lid. however i think what could have been really cool was a sparkle bright purple under the lash line tapering off into a drop in the middle section like a reverse halo while you have abright colored wing drawing the eye out and up, i think the pull down with a darker shimmer would be very cool, sorta like a toxic / radioactive butterfly. ( i enjoy clashing contrasting colors - hence why i dont blend. ) . like a michael hussar neon butterfly

This is such a gorgeous collection but I have never and probably will never wear Neon inspired or such intensely vibrant shades. (Gemini, Sessions and Muerte are my true loves, and three ultra pleasing collections is more than enough for me. Though I’d love to see other cool gothic movie collabs. Crimson Peak or The Craft? Yes please.)

i like to see your process. I have like one lipstick so I put eyeshadow over it all the time to get it to match; it doesnt wear well, though. Would you be able to do black and white stripes on the eye? Or like one eye with the stripes and the other lime green? I would imagine that would be nearly impossible since the eyelid skin moves/tugs/droops. You would probably be the person to get it turn out well, though. Love your content and happy late halloween

I have had a hard time trying to get tickets to not just the party but to California from Michigan I was absolutely going nothing that was stopping me from coming out from Detriot, but omg the Amor Eterno Party?! !!! You did such an awesome job with this, Pomp! I agree, I’m not a huge fan of the mascara (I honestly thought that Melt would do a little better with their first mascara as all their other products have such great formulas). Similarly to you, I also prefer lengthening mascaras as I really don’t like the look of clumpy lashes on me and the melt one just looks like clump city.

Smashed my way here from another video. I've been waiting for this! Missed out on everything but the palettes since I waited for it to come to Sephora 😤 Edit: I had the same thought about the recently deceased purples being very similar, but you should check out the reviews from "Annette's Makeup Corner" and "Accused of Lipsticking", they both used the palette beautifully and were able to get some really surprising blends!

Annette just ranked both pretty low on her recent palette ranking video because of the similar looks the palettes create given the similar shades on each palette. Interesting and beautiful looking collection but I skipped it.

I understand what you're saying about the black shadow but I can't imagine making a Beetlejuice collection without white and black eyeshadows (black and white stripes along with green hair is synonymous with Beetlejuice), as well as the fact that many people don't have other Melt palettes so this would be their only black shadow from them.

I love the look and I also love Sabuda and Reinhart pop-up books (the ones that worked on together and their own books). I've purchased many for my eldest nephew, gave some away to my niece and them gave 5 to the daughter of a family friend. It's priceless watching kids in my family and the family friend's daughter experience pop-up books, seeing the wonder and surprise as they open the pages and the mini pages. I discovered the Icelandic artist Kristjana S Williams (she is on Instagram) whose fantastical 3D artwork is next level. If you're not following her already, you have to check her out. Should I ever have the resources, I would commission a piece from her. Okay, I'm way off topic now. You, as always, did a terrific job and I'm excited about these products.

The brush numbers are on the side that’s written ‘beetlejuice’, on the end of the brush (on the lace pattern closer to the end of the brush). I was looking for the numbers, since they have them listed on the website but they’re a bit hard to find 🤣 ETA: beautiful look! Loved the shadow over the lipstick, and the green with the red was awesome!

What an amazing collection! I looked into the brushes to see if they were still available, but they're all gone. : ( I don't own or use makeup, I just love watching people playing with it, but I would have loved to have those brushes as my first baby step into the makeup world. Do they ever restock things like this, or is it just one push and once it's gone it's gone forever?

depends. sometimes they will restock but usually the holiday collections dont tend to come back. email customer service and see if theyre planning on doing a limited restock? hope this helped a little!
