Absolute godsend. I’ve been fighting issues with my xj for months ever since my master went on my clutch this explains it all

Oh man, thank you for this. I’ve got no power to the blower motor controls at all and i’ve replaced everything. The plug to the environmental controls was completely melted. I have a feeling i have this exact same problem.

If yours is a ninety six or before I would start with that bulk connector remove and clean and see if you see anything burnt

That’s a pretty nice solution. Definitely looks like clutch or brake fluid getting into the fuse box. It’s surprising that more of them don’t burn up. My fog light switch melted in my bad boy black package Z28…. No relay!

These car companies cheap out on things like that. I will be making another video on adding a relay to the headlights. The headlight switches and plugs are known for melting on these things so I want to prevent.

So I have a similar problem. My fuse block is corroded from sitting in clutch master cylinder fluid for over 20 years and will need to be replaced. What is the best way to go about replacing the fuse panel?

It's all one piece. Probably need to get an entire harness from salvage yard or ebay or alot of wire crimping

I've got 95 xj has the issue of the ignition switch gets hot only when blower is run on max

You might need a new blower motor resister. Very cheap on rockauto.com

@@MajorWeakness i put new blower/resister with the new ones ignition switch took longer before getting hot the ignition switch is the same one used in gen2 dodge trucks
