This is another wonderful recipe! I can’t wait to try it. I’ve made cheesecake before but this recipe looks a lot better. The one I used doesn’t have the sour cream on top either. Being from the south (Texas) I grew up with most of the foods you cook your own family. A lot of my family recipes were lost so I’m grateful for yours. I’m ordering your cookbook as soon as possible! I'm going to try this cheesecake recipe because it doesn't have flour in the filling. You can use gluten free Ginger snaps or gf vanilla wafers. I've never seen a cheese cake you bake without flour. Thank you for sharing.

I have never liked sour cream but i made a cheese cake that called for sour cream with sugar. I was hesitant about putting it on but omg after you add that little bit of sugar its the best tasting stuff. I could eat the bowl by its self. So good. And it makes the cheese cake so much better

Being a cook from the north east. Our cheesecakes are baked in a water bath. At 300 for 55 min to an hour. We don’t take the cake directly out of the oven. That will cause it to crack. We turn the oven off and stick a fork in the door. Then leave it in the oven for an hour. I have never had a cheesecake crack. That is why so many recipes call for sour cream slathered on top. Also we pre bake our crust before filling. Everyone does it differently. Yes I live in Anderson. I .

I use 6 Philly cream ch then when cooled put one can of cherry pie filling I think a bigger pan

I also like to add just a bit of lemon juice to the cheesecake mixture.

I love cheesecake , but have never made one .your's look yummy , am going to give it a try , wish me luck , lol. you baked it @ 375 for 35 min....on the video , i noticed that when you took it out , before adding the sour cream & sugar on top , that your oven was set @ 350 for the 5 min🤔🤔🤔 .did you change the temp from 375 to 350 for this step , or did i just think this ?.
