Meme, Many years ago my beautiful Moma (Georgia Lee) made a crab dip just like this. Many time I wished I had Mom to write them down but I didn't. I always thought she'd be here forever . She passed 2 years ago. Now I find it's very important to write many of my family recipes down. I just purchased 2 cute prefect recipe holder books at Hallmark. So now I'm able write my old tried & true recipes along with some new ones like yours for my daughter-in-law. Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful recipes, stories & love. Miss Diane, you are the best!!! I followed your recipe for shrimp dip and it was deeelicious!!! Then I prepared this same dip recipe but because of an individual who has allergies to shrimp, I substituted the shrimp with imitation crab. Well now, it was as yummy as if I had used shrimp. Meme, I have been loving your RU-vid channel videos and your stories. I just ordered two of your cookbooks and can't wait for them to arrive. My own grandmother taught me how to cook and I treasure her recipes and the lessons and stories she would share while we were together in the kitchen. I bought her cookbook two weeks ago. It was delivered within 3 days. I have cooked something from her cookbook everyday since. All of her recipes are wonderful. Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole and Apple Cake have already been made twice. They are exceptional.

MeMe thank you for sharing that recipe with us, It was so simple, looks tasty - will try this weekend - and something that is just not that common here in England. In fact I miss the dips we had when I lived in NC - my favorite was a warm crab dip sounded wrong but was so right! i think we can all share you joy at being back at the riverside homes where you have so many special memories and you are so lucky to be making more memories right now with your family. Im not religious but respect those who have faith and send you best wishings and peace.

Hey MeMe !! My name is Jerry and I'm a new Subscriber! My wife and I Love your videos ! You are such a Sweetheart! Your "Shine for Jesus" means more than you'll ever know ! Jesus has changed my life and I know I'm in the Right place when I'm watching You !! We live in Fort Mill SC! So we are kind of neighbors huh ?? We have a Beach house we've had since Pop bought it in the 1970s at Wrightsville Beach, NC ! He was a lot like your Dad and also carried noyes on Jokes in his pocket ! He started the first paging company in Charlotte, NC called Dial Page his name was Al Guin ! I wanted to share one of his stories with You ! He and his friends decided they were going to go tent camping in the NC mountains well long story short, they had fried up some fish in a big cast iron pan that belong to his wife Linda ! Later that day while they were sitting by the fire talking they heard a commotion under the shelter they had setup for Cooking! When they looked the saw a Bear carrying Al's wife Linda Frying pan off into the woods ! All jumped up and chased the Bear with a stick screaming no Bear you can't take Linda's frying pan she doesn't know I have it and she will kill me ! They said Al actually caught up with the Bear and made him drop that Frying Pan ! I bet he and your Dad would have gotten along great ! We Love You MeMe ! This sounds so marvelous! I think I will bring this to my family Thanksgiving get together as an appetizer. We have just started to get together after Covid. I hope I can put this in a cooler for the five hour trip and that will work for the two hour cool down. What do you think?
