great video. I didn't catch what the material you were talking about on using for the vcarve. Is that material readily available are to do you have to put it together. Again thanks for the instructions.
Thank You for your reply, unfortunately that material is not available in Western Australia. I can get a material similar but in 12 mm thick if that will do the job. Can you please advise what type of White Paint you are using. Thank You @@vectric
Hi there, the main thing you are looking for is the contrast between the top layer and what is underneath! 12mm would be fine, the depth just needs to be enough to VCarve into and have enough material below that. Other material you could use is black MDF with a veneer or similar. The paint we used was white matt emulsion, hope this all helps! Thanks

I priced this material here in the USA online, the material is $7/square foot, but the shipping is $67 for me (OUCH!). Is this only available in certain areas at a reasonable price? How about painting wood black then top coating with white paint, then photo vcarve through that top paint? thanks.
