Natasha Thomas, board-certified music therapist, who works at a school for the deaf. She blogs regularly about her experiences at Music Moves. I have been especially “moved” by her blog because it brings light to a very unique topic: Music therapy at a school for the Deaf.
My grandmother loved to sing, in sign that is, at every chance she was able to have. I love my music and I am a performer/artist. I wish she could have experienced more power of music. Thank you for your comment!-Nicole
My wife and I are making a few Hymns albums available for music therapy in Nursing Homes and Hospice Care! I just uploaded a video called "Songs for Music & Memory iPod Project". Enjoy!
you need to know about music, music history and music theory. you need to know how to play guitar, how to play piano and how to sing. I addition you take courses in psychology, music education among other several courses. I will recomend you to acces the American Music Therapy Association website, they have the entire information. Good luck!
