No it's not, when a person usually traumatized they break down, show a level of fear, grief, heartache that's a real reposnse. Smiling and laughing is just weird to me and it pisses me off because then it's not seen as something to be taken seriously.

I watched the father of my kid die infront of me without shedding a tear. The tears came later after the denial. Months of depression and bad decisions. We are still crushed 2 years later.
Same!! I've often reacted way later. I don't have kids, but loved ones have perished in my vicinity. People called me heartless etc. I just remember the times I did breakdown put of nowhere and with no one around 😢
I also tried to be brave as my mother was dieing of cancer. When you don't cry people look at you like your heartless. My tears came when I was alone in the shower and my kids couldn't hear me.
I see the comments about the mother smiling. Well, not everyone handles a bad situation with tears. She could be focusing on the fact that her babies are still living, and she still has her family. Im sure realized that her babies were hurt and that there was nothing she could do about that. At the end of the day, she is focusing on the things she can control, like helping her children get better because she could have been planning their funerals. Always try to find the light in a bad situation, because if you don't, it can lead to depression❤❤
What i find NOT SO NORMAL is how people feel the need to tell others HOW TO DEAL WITH THE TRAUMA OF THEIR LIFE. Why is her smiling considered by people odd? And yes i found her smiling to b normal. Normal enough that she can see her kids again, she isnt planning funerals, her kids have a future bc they r still here. YES THAT NORMAL TO SMILE ABOUT bc sometimes u have to SMILE just to keep from crying. Some people chooses to focus on the positive. It took me 10 months to break down after my husband's death. When the tears came ( in 2013), I was messed up for almost a year. By the grace of God and family support, I got through it.
I'm not trying to say anything too bad, but she's smiling in this video like she was just informed that she won a prize or something. This is so serious and there is no way in Heaven or Hell that I'd be able to give this interview due to crying and fainting uncontrollably.
