The current resident at 1600 will never get this kind of love and respect. Obama was a class act, intelligent as well as compassionate. He set the example for many young people to follow.

+CNN Why do you address the President of the United States as "Obama" ? I think it is very disrespectful. I was watching some old footage of the first Iraq war. You always addressed the president as President Bush, and even though I dislike him he should be addressed as such.
Yopu need to go back and watch coverage and interviews from the 90s and 00's so you can see that the claim in your statement is not universal and it isn't all the time. The press and the people have ALWAYS alternated between saying President Clinton, President Bush and President Obama and saying Clinton, Bush, Obama.
@@stephaniezimbalist3757 It's not even close. Many times when concerning other presidents they often simply say "the president". With President Obama it was terrible, especially on Faux News. I think this was borne out of rightist racism. Currently President Obama, the 44th POTUS remains the last president. Hopefully the US will get a real president in November. President Biden.

All that being said, mainstream media regularly referred to President Obama, Obama as they did Clinton and Bush BUT it never had a derisive tone to it like when Faux News would say Obama and when they renamed the Affordable Care Act Obamacare. The mainstream media helped Republicans when they adopted the term Obamacare too. Faux worked hard to convince it's viewership that President Obama was evil so rebranding the Affordable Health Care Act was key to getting those dummies to dislike a program that is in their best interests.

I watch this just to watch the reaction of the kids when he walks in. Such admiration, respect and love. I miss the Obama years. There is no respect given nor taken from the current resident of 1600. Only division and disrespect.
This has been an awesome experience for Memphis and especially the kids of 38126. It's really great to see BTW lead again my parents were alumnus and my grandparents were active alumnus this is really awesome. My grandparents marched and fought for rights and change this would be a great reward.

My high school I just see teachers who don't know what they're doing, teachers in their 20s trying too hard to act like a teacher they forget what they're doing, teachers who give up on students and just kick them out of class, discipline that doesn't work (yeah, keeping a kid in school all day to do nothing is effective.. not) It's disgusting.

You really should have listened to the entire segment. That school was "most improved" and they "earned" the presidential visit. Seriously, do you have to make comments like this?
