Catering my man…this is real. I am Gen X and realized a long time ago that there was a real plus instead of seeing it as oppressive. I just cared and did nice things a the young men loved that about me. I have been married for 30 years and catering to my husband works! But he also goes out of his way to cater to me. It’s so beautiful. It takes checking into your intuition to see if it feels right to continue catering to a boyfriend.

That's what I always tell people. Everyone may be great on the surface but doesn't mean in intimate settings they are the same. Or as a parent. And not everyone "nice" or wealthy is compatible to what we need or desire. I appreciated this video because your next point I 100% agree! Women may appear to be emotionally intelligent because we express certain emotions externally or outwardly more easily but it doesn't mean women are actually mature. I noticed this even in myself. It's been a lot of work to getting there. I thought I was "mature" for many reasons and come to find out, not til my post 30's have I even felt nearly capable to be a wife or parent.

Well, Stephan, there are learning lessons for each individual to experience throughout the maturity stages if the relationship continues to grow. If we are friends, at first, then that will allow one another to become a part of a relationship with feelings and emotions. I have male friends that I set facts with. We are BFs, you can talk to me about your woman problems, and I will talk to you about my man problems. Now, here is the problem, comforting one another from emotional traumatic experiences may bring you closer to the relationship stage of I can treat you better stage of healing, because as a friend, I don't like seeing you hurt stage. Okay, I feel this stage is a (bounce back stage) to help me get over the dead beat I was dealing with. BUT what red flags or baggage is brought from the devastions of the PAST relationship? I truly feel there are 2 sides to every story before becoming the victim. No one is perfect. What could I have done to make this RELATIONSHIP work😢? What part of toxicity and low vibrational energy did I display? 😢😢yeah, I could've done more.....but... that's the way of making yourself the victim. Yes you just worked 8 hours, yes, you just picked up the babies from school, yes you have to go home and start dinner, yes you have to tidy the house, yes you have to go over the kids homework, yes you have to get their school clothes ready for the next day, yes your husband, or man will be home and you have his dinner ready. His kids are clean, and yes, his house is clean, and yes, you greet him with a "I love you smile and 💋 😘. My Point is, you must mature from friend stages, boyfriend stages, fiancee stages, to covenant husband and wife 🤵🏽👰🏽‍♂️ stage. Know your role throughout each stage of maturity, and lessons of who you are and the process of knowledge during the formation of each stage and roles that will allow you to continue your journey for your restoration process of your life. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧🫶🏾🙏🏽🫂😇😉🤗. Thanks, coach! I've recently came to terms with what I want from my partner. After I wrote it out, made a voice note about it- I realized that my partner would also have a list. I asked myself "what kinda woman do I need to show up as to have a healthy connection?" I didn't have nearly as much to say lol. This helped me make a list for myself and to continue to improve and implement these changes. I tell myself "the woman I am single, is the woman I'll be married." Therefore, it's important to have/be/practice healthy things in all aspects of my life.

Amazing video. I remain teachable. Self examination and self love is important. I feel it’s important to be humble apologize quickly, no blaming, shaming. I was not always emotionally mature in my 20’s 30’s. I decided to do the work, read the books, get the counseling, learn about codependency, watch the videos. Today over 50, I know myself more. I hate drama anyway. I know my triggers. I don’t react and do things I would regret. I feel the anger but remember what God says. It all goes back to the Bible for me. Some things I never tolerated anyway. I watch my words.🙏🏽💕

If a man makes you feel confused, he is wasting your time and eroding your self esteem! It's VERY simple: always judge a person by their ACTIONS, and you will never EVER be fooled by their words... 1. Know your value!!! (Do NOT doubt yourself.) 2. Take yourself and your worth seriously. You need to BE A QUEEN to be treated like one. 3. Don’t give easy access. Access to your energy should be expensive. 4. Do NOT only EXPRESS your boundaries. YOU MUST show them. 5. Always be ready to walk away. 6. Show that you are focused on actions not on words. 7. Have a healthy degree of skepticism. 8. You must be willing to say NO and you must be willing to lose the man, if needed. 9. Never EVER chase a man! A truly worthy woman, does not EVER chase a man. Giving the same energy that you're getting is key and if you don't like that energy then move on! NOW! It can be hard but that's when you need to choose yourself over the damn illusion/fantasy. A man who loves a woman will not ignore her, ever, period. So... If he ignores me I will step back and he will lose me. Simple. Simple. Non-dramatic and uncomplicated. I don’t, under any circumstance: play these childish-abusive-controlling mind games. I will only be with a man who values and appreciates me, and treats me as the Queen, I AM. (Daughter of the Most Hight; King of kings!) Because I am a beautiful and kind and divine and sexy and wise and intelligent and magical woman: who knows my worth. Period. Also, We create each moment. This moment contains, through my focus, both positive and negative... I can put my attention on what I lack, what I don't have, what traumas I do have etc... And, I can put my attention on the calm moment that I am in, NOW, the food I just ate, and the fact that my body is satisfied, the shelter I do have... (You get my idea!) Both are here... And now. For the sake of fairness, I will allow myself to cry my pains, in the moment if/when they come/arise, AND also acknowledge the beauty I still have in my life NOW. Pain? Yes. Suffering? Indeed. And, also: wonderous magical divine beauty. Blessings to you!

2 issues, 1st off it is MUCH easier for a woman to “tap into” “catering to a man” is when it is reciprocated & not seen as a man sitting back allowing her to be her best self BY herself…2ndly both people need to show accountability & not “lump” all women/people into these negative & self serving categories…I am uniquely individual…even my toxic traits are unique to me & my life’s journey

Hello Stefan, I’m not sure if you read your comments but I just want you to know that after years of painful break ups, I keep going back to the men who are not good for me and finally I’m at a place where I’m going to Coaching and Therapy, so that I can heal from my patterns and decided to devote this year, to finishing my internship and getting my own apartment again and practising you have it taken care of myself so that I can be valued and we put on a pedestal by my future man, although right now it’s hard to believe that there’s another one who exists who’s better than my ex, who gave up on us, but also acknowledge him, and he did not meet my needs, especially with the communication piece that I value…. Can heal properly this year, while listening to all your videos, because it gives me hope for a future partner in the future better version of myself so that I can prepare for him. your channel has given me a healthy, hopeful positive attribution to my healing journey so that I could not on the hill, but enjoy it too

I haven’t always been my authentic self with some men for fear they will reject me...but my authentic self has been a draw for others despite me not being attracted to those men. I am truly working on being my authentic self. No longer worrying about what people think of me. Focusing on me and getting myself together to be my best me. The emotional intelligence is really important and being transparent...those resonate with me. I have to grow my communication skills with men. I find it hard to Advocate for myself at times...still, I'm a work in progress.

I really enjoy your videos and wish I had heard of you sooner. I’ve been single for 10 years now, I got married very young (20yrs old) and divorced 13 years later. I never really learned how to be in an equal give and take relationship until way later in life. I naturally do most of the things you’ve talked about here but I guess I’ve just been giving to the wrong men because in the end I am alone again. I liked the concepts in this video and especially honestly in that n the fact you said to be his place of peace. But here is my question regarding that… could you please do a video on the difference between being his place of peace rather than him committing to a future with you? It seems so many men want that place of peace but yet once they got it they become less likely to committ because hey why bother? They already have what makes them happy. Connecting these dots and not being used in the process would be helpful. Love and appreciate your spending time to talk about all that you do. It is very helpful to everyone on either side of the relationship fence! Thank you!

Hello Stephan, I really enjoy your channel. I think it is a huge contribution for all of us. I am a new subscriber. I’m listening to your story about a female family friend which you describe as beautiful, successful job, etc… I have an issue with your description of her flaw and your ability to identify her issue/issues with emotional intelligence regarding relationships…. She could not be successful in business or have a great successful job if she has a huge issue with emotional intelligence. This sounds confusing to me, I teach psychology and professional development. Perhaps I’m not understanding what your saying🤷🏽‍♀️. Other than that… your on point with so many things.😊

Absolutely and I had to change my had to be honest that , Yes I had to change everything about , everything / I had to be Honest and come clean to all my faults and that I wasn't as mature as I should have been in relationships and stop the men I choose as my pattern needed to be broken and choose a NICE guy instead of me being attracted to challenges and broken men... i was trying to fix the man that had no intentions on being nor wanted to be fixed.... I needed to change my choices and fix ME and MY SELF to make healthy life choices....

One thing my boyfriend said was different about me was being supportive of him and his goals. One thing we’ve been trying to work on is how I express concerns I have about his approaches while still showing positivity and support for his end goal. If you’re looking for future video content ideas, I’m sure it’s something that many of us women out there would love to or be able to improve for the men in our lives. I loved the statement that I need to be who I am. Acts of service are easy for me, however, it always results in him then doing less and less. So frustrating because then I have to pull back and do less (not who I am) because the relationship becomes so one sided.

I wonder, are women so conditioned to give and nurture to the point that we don’t know how to contribute in a healthy way? I understand what you are saying. Society has banged this concept that women are the givers and nurturers in relationship and in families, so much that we self-sacrifice and lose balance. Be yourself and enjoy giving love and nurturance if that’s what you really, really want to do. Use wisdom, also.

Also, catering to your man has to be done from the heart without wanting anything in return. When you do so it’s easier to gauge when to give or not give. And if things don’t workout it doesn’t feel like wasted time and energy.
