Unfortunately also many men don’t understand what loyalty, trust and respect is. I have been in several relationships. Most of these men treated me disrespectful, had control issues, jealousy issues and one guy even stole from me. At the age of 40 I decided to be a single and I have never been happier.

The worst risk in committing is getting friend zoned. It can really hurt inside. I suppose it's possible to stop this from happening, but it takes a tremendous amount of inner strength and detachment. Don't expect anything from a long term girl. Idk man I'm convinced it's women who don't want commitment anymore because they're waiting on that perfect guy and are way overvaluing themselves to where it's causing men to be single. I tell dudes all the time, find a donor, get a surrogate, hire a maid and go to the strip club or go see a pro... Youll save money and heart ache in the long run and won't risk having a custody battle or losing the house and your income. I didnt set it up like this.. its how yall got raised... My mother was a very toxic abusive woman who abused my dad and us kids. When they got divorced we were very lucky that our mother lost custody and even visitation rights. My siblings and I were able to grow up with our loving caring dad. I guess when growing up with an abusive parent, makes us want a caring loving partner. I have had 2 boyfriends who treaded me with respect. But I also had 3 boyfriends who treated me disrespectful and were also abusive. So now I’m a happy single since 12 years, but open to a relationship. But only if I find a good match. 😉

Its okay for women to have high expectations for men. However, that high expectation needs to be met on their end as well. My ex was beautiful when i met her, but for 2 years, she kept gaining weight, which she said was her body going back to a healthier balance. I pointed out how her mom was overweight and had trouble moving around in her 50s. I said I dont want to get married to a woman who lets her body go after marriage. We ended up breaking up after the 2 year relationship. Im okay with it, but she seems indenile that our attraction declined over time due to her gaining weight she didnt have when we met. She didnt see anything wrong with it and never put a plan in place to adjust.

Similar thing happened with my ex. I encouraged her and helped her make a plan to lose weight because i didnt want to lose physical attraction towards her. I also kindly brought up to her that her mom and sister were overweight and i did not want her to end up the same. For about 5 years she did not lose weight and ehen i brought up the topic instead of her wanting to become better she simply said she thinks she will never be good enough for me.
