Judging a woman's attractiveness infront of her is the easiest way to offend a woman.

I saw a clip of this and asked my wife about it she said the top 2 girls were perfectly fine with being put last because they knew they are the most attractive and wanted to spare the other girls feelings.

She didn't say she was a victim. She said she thought she was going to be, but was wrong. We all have our preconceived notions, but the key is being able to learn and grow. Part of that process is admitting when youre wrong.

I saw another commentary on this video and basically the conclusion was that the women really ranked themselves in order of "most likely to be offended by getting judged on looks" to "least likely to be offended" and I think that's pretty accurate lol.

My goodness, nothing is more excruciating to watch than a jubilee video. Yet I still watch them.

Watching a reaction to a jubilee video calling out how ridiculous they are is always more entertaining than the jubilee video itself.

I watched another one of these videos one time. All of the girls put one girl at the end the whole entire time. The guys came in and completely reversed the order and put the girl at the top, and the girl that thought that she was something really special at the end. I gotta say it made me smile. 🙂

In the 1970's I was attending a party and I happened to sit beside this girl and we struck up a very nice conversation and this girl had cerebral palsy but we had such an enjoyable conversation that we talked for about 2 hours straight until she had to leave. Mind you I was a very shy guy then and I could not approach any girl to introduce myself. However talking to this girl sort of pulled me out of my shell and this was the first time this ever happened to me. From a physical perspective she was probably a 3 out of a 5 so my attraction to her was something more than physical - her pleasantness, intelligence, and sense of humor. Up to this day when I recall this I slap myself for not asking for her phone number then & I also wonder how's she's doing right now.

If those women did an anonymous blind ranking using pictures (only physical) it would probably be similar to men's ranking. Women tend to be extra careful not to hurt other women's feelings

A kids judging them would be hilarious! I think if you’re looking at attractiveness you’re looking at their face, hair, accessories and clothing. You can’t see what their personality is at first glance.

It has been my experience that the more I get to know someone, the better looking they become to me, and vice-versa, (or less unattractive?) and that looks becomes a non-issue. (assuming that I like the person) And as a guy, I almost never think of other guys in terms of whether they are good looking. It’s more about their character. But I do notice if a guy looks objectionable (I realize that’s subjective, and different for everyone).

As far as the girl at 5 ……..I was never more than a 5. I discovered that the fact that my best friends were 9-10 meant I got attention for my personality, for being willing to try new fun things (all with clothing). My best friend a blazing 10, can only go out with one guy at a time. Confidence and a sense of humor often meant her boyfriends would often prefer me

The larger woman accepting reality and not getting mad actually made her more attractive.

This video was an exercise in demonstrating how impossible it is for women to be honest with themselves about themselves. It must be emotionally exhausting to constantly have to play defense against reality.

I don't understand why Michelle would think she wouldn't be ranked 1 or 2, simply because she's Asian. She's naturally beautiful and is kind. In my opinion, someone more reserved is more attractive than just being extroverted.

Definitely think 2, 3, 4, would be interchangeable depending on the personal biases. But 1 and 5 seem about right (obviously opinioned bias based as well but I think I wouldn't be the only one to agree)

My impression is that the least attractive women came off as anxious and disingenuous, while the more attentive women had honesty and poise.

It also comes down to "eye of the beholder". Men have varying taste in women. Biology plays a big part in it too. Your mind, heart, and body are attracted to different types. Don't fallow what society tells you it's beauty standard is. They were all attractive in different ways. Personally from what I could see, the one who the guys put as 5 was the most attractive. I will say attitude kills looks very quickly for me. It doesn't matter what a woman looks like , if I can't carry on a conversation with you forget it. I was attracted to my wife for her looks, I fell in love with her for her mind.

Brett has Personality + The Looks. A total keeper. I think Brett is definitely the top 2-3℅ maybe even 1℅ in terms of attractiveness overall, in the globe.

The feminists have struck again! Currently at a small concert venue in Richmond VA and there are only two big bathrooms: “mens” and “all genders”. As a woman I hate our spaces being taken away like this. As soon as I saw there was no women’s only bathroom I wanted to write a comment to Brett as more proof of womens’ spaces getting erased. There is a worthwhile difference in my eyes between how attractive someone is, and how attracted you are to them. We can say someone looks good without wanting to date them or have sex with them or whatever.

You can get a sense of personality in their looks and manerisms, but that really takes time, so yeah, meeting a bunch of strangers is going to require basing your opinion mostly on physical attraction. And the women would have done the same thing, but they chatted and got to know each other first. They had a bigger taste of personality. Also, you know the women would have ranked differently if it wasn’t an open group ranking.

Beauty is in the physical aspect that is usually associated with proportions as close to some ideal aspect. But beauty is more than that personality is another and how they fit together in an idealized whole.

Thinking back on girls that I've dated, they range from extroverted to introverted, so I don't know that I have a "type" in that area. But what they all had in common was that they were feminine and embraced their womanhood. That is very attractive to me.

There's definitely 2 levels of attraction that happen in the first 10 seconds. The initial look, then the response to when they talk and convey themselves. Of course there's an evolving attraction that happens over time, but those first few seconds can make or break someone's attraction.

It was about looks though. Your personality shows up on your face, and you could tell the most "warm" personalities in the room were the prettiest, and they took the number 1 and 2 slots for the mens rankings. It's pretty telling that with a few swaps, the rankings were kinda mirror images. The women lied to one another to appear humble but the men saw right through it to the most humble in the bunch and put her in 1st place

What’s interesting to me is you can single out each girl and do a random draw of 4 different girls from the whole world’s population and at times they would be ranked first last or right in the middle. You could be the top 10 percent most attractive person in the world and feel the ugliest based on who you are with.

I am 63. I have been rating women's looks for over half a century. Rules to abide by: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and only skin deep, but ugly is to the Bone. We can disagree what beauty is, but ugly is non-debatable.

I just loved it with the whole socks thing, here in Scandinavia socks are super normal and pretty much anything flyes as long as there are no noticeble holes in them. And completely agree with the guys ranking, I'm a guy

I agree that we’re different although this wouldn’t be the correct example because rating each other and being part of the rating is more stressful. It’s easier to rate others and also if they’re wearing headphones

I want to give props to the guys. The way they went about rating attrativeness is great. As a guy, that is the way my friends and I would go about it. It's not just about physical looks. How a woman dresses, carries herself in public, talks, etc is definitely part of what makes a woman beautiful. There are some very physically attractive women who just give off bad vibes and that alone imo, makes them ugly as compared to a woman who isn't as physically beautiful but off the bat gives off good vibes and has a pleasant calm demeanor. There was a girl in high school who liked me and wanted to date me. I told her I didn't find her attractive. She whispered in my ear, "I ain't the prettiest girl in school, but I'd be the best girlfriend you'll ever have." We dated and she was wonderful, but I had to end it because I had to leave for college. She was right, she was the best girlfriend I ever had. Forty years later and I still think about her from time to time.

This wasn't going to end well. But I am glad that you mentioned that men and women think differently. I will say I do try to dress more femine on my days off even as a plus size because men clearly treat you differently. It's nice having men behave like gentlemen and I also find it helpful in keeping my confidence as I continue to work on my health and weight-loss.

The men's ranking and the women's ranking were nearly reversed. The only two that I found attractive were Maria and Michelle, which were the top two when ranked by the men. In the women's ranking it was just the strongest willed women pushing themselves to the top. In the men's ranking it was actually honest.

As a straight male myself I don't speak for all men but I definitely think as males we start off with physical attraction first, so how you look, how you smell what you are wearing how you physically carry yourself and your physical shape... Physical appearance is our eye catcher... After the first few seconds it becomes all about personality and I would like to think for most men personality is way more important but you can't judge a person's personality in just a few seconds so looks get our attention first and then we get to know the individual... I can't speak to the males in that episode/show but like a girl would say "they are all attractive in their own way" none of the girls were ugly, but someone had to be ranked last and I am sure if there were more than 5 women maybe the ranking would be different... Keep in mind beautiful is subjective and while generally being healthy and dressing well can go a long way every man and woman has a different preference in male or female appearance so while the girl that was ranked 5 was ranked 5 I am sure someone out there believed that girl should have been ranked number 1 in their personal preference As a side note, I feel like no matter what the ranking it was, who ever was last or second last would have played the victim just like how the black girl said something about her race and "American beauty standards" and even Brett has to say that had nothing to do with it... Just accept the ranking and move on

Brett, I just wanted to share that men can look at women for physical beauty without a lick of lewdness. Lewdness is a lowest common demonimator. Attractiveness does not have to be inextricably linked to how 'sexy' someone is. Interesting video. Brett, move yourself to the end of the Most Attractive. You have looks and brains, therefore you can do anything you want. I told both of my daughters this very thing, and they are both beautiful and highly successful in their fields.

Beauty is in everything. Physical appearance is muldimensional, in literal and figurative cases. and each person likes something else from other one. Sometimes it is deep psychological cause, sometimes it's just kink.

I am a guy and here is my ranking: 1. Maria (love her cheek bones and her hair, her shyness. she might not sound shy when she gets interviewed or talks to the other ladies, but her bodylanguage says otherwise. At least to me) 2. MIchelle (love her cuteness, her round face, and her hair, and her buddylike personality. With her as your partner live probably won't get boring, no make up) 3. Kaylynn (love her hair and how it suits her face. Love her sporty figure) 4. Blond Girl (sorry, didn't get her name. When she said that she was a dancer she did it with such over confidence that i did shrink back immediately. And i don't like how she dresses.) 5. Jordan (she seems like a nice person, but she is a little to large for my taste. Sorry, Lady) And that is it. And it is ranked purely in regards to my taste. Nothing else. And i admit that i would have had a harder time deciding between Kaylynn and the blond girl, if the blond girl would dress more feminine (or even sporty like Kaylynn) and wouldn't have let that out that she is a dancer like the way she did. They don't know each other's personality because they've never met before, and the girls have earmuffs on and aren't talking. And the black chick wasn't ranked lower because of her race, she's just objectively less attractive than the top 2 girls. She's not ugly, I'd just rank her 3rd out of THIS particular group.

I watch a lot of men's channels. They covered this video and a lot of men placed the blonde last and the bigger girl second last. They said the blonde was too masculine visually and too up herself personality wise. They said the bigger girl had a nice looking face, dressed feminine and came across as a nice girl. Her being overweight was the negative for most of them. The men in the video only had the women's appearances to go on. Same for the women when they ranked the men.

The thing is being 5th doesn’t mean your ugly and the ranking is subjective.

I think the way Michelle mentioned her race was just her trying not to get canceled, there isn’t really any widely accepted woke victimhood for Asians. So I think her point was more what you said about how they’d get canceled for not putting the the black or overweight woman first, but realizes she couldn’t phrase it that way, at least that’s the feeling I got from her sounding so uncertain when she said it

Yup, glad we all agree. My number 3 & 4 got switched, but that is definitly the order of Attractiveness. It's about looks and body language. The order could be compleetly different if it's about "like". Cause that would also factor in personality and way of life. Number 1 would probally be still the same, but the blonde would be dead last.
