No sex, no kissing, no physical intimacy for over 7 years. She has been in Peri for 10 years and doesn't look like it is ending soon (as her OBGYN says she is not close to Menopause). Cuddles? yeah - she doesn't want to touch, next to each other or anything. Just like an emotionally withdrawn mannequin. I am trying to get her to see a Peri/Menopause specialist (NAMS certified) - but that is always met with defiance, anger and opposition. I am at a loss - looking at 22 years of marriage and family just being lost. She will not avoid bad foods, sugar or other - won't take any of the supplements I have stocked up on - just opposing anything to help. She hasn't even told her OBGYN about her total loss of libido and desire - and we are on year 10 - like she wants to hide it and not deal with it in any way.

It is not her hormones. It is you. If she met Jason Mamoa or the rock and he wanted to smash. Do you believe she would decline? She just does not want to smash you. And why should she? She didn't deliver for 7 years but yet you are still there, still providing. Free stuff is tempting

I’m a bloke watching this possibly going through the pre-menopause, my partner says she’s no idea what’s wrong with her, she’s 49 soon how do I tell her to go for a blood test, she has a GP appointment in 2 weeks, Wednesday she told me I may not be the right guy for her, then Saturday she says baby hang on in there I love you so much, she’s told me she hates college since her mood swings I’m getting to know a different person she was nothing at all like she is now, she says it’s not just me it’s everything, her family, college, myself she says she’s not even replying to people and that’s not like me

Hello Nicki. I am currently going through some issues with my wife that she has a lot of symptoms of the menopause stages. I want to give you a quick guide to all that my wife has gone through in the past few years. 1) She had lost custody to the oldest daughter shortly after we met. 2) her mom past away suddenly out of nowhere. 3) 2 weeks after that her grandma passed away due to cancer. 3) we have had financial difficulties due to the court hears of the custody battles. 4) the father of the oldest daughter is a narcissist. Everything has been going great between us in this time frame. She always has nothing but great things to say about me to others and tells me that she could not ask for anything more from a husband and stepfather. Just last night she had a moment where her emotions spiraled down. She came to talk to me later the next morning to say that she has no idea how she feels it has been feeling about us and she needs time apart to get herself and thoughts squared away. She knows she needs help and I am trying to be supportive it it’s hard when I can’t be there for her. She has had a lot of peri menopause or premenopause symptoms for about at least a year or 2. What advice can you give me to help support her it tough times like this when we have had little issues or arguments in the past. Like I said we have been great! Thanks again for reading this. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Thank you for the video on how men can be supportive to the ur partner in peri menopause. Could you also do a video please advising women on how to make things easier on men, and how women shouldn't think they have a pass to mistreat and disrespect their man while in menopause? Women still have responsibilities towards their men during this I think.

I find it quite remarkable how menopause is selective, she never has an issue with anyone else so, also I find the name (men o pause) perfect for these symptoms... I see how NOT blaming her is correct but that's difficult when she treats me with suck crazy anger, she treats me like she hates me so how can I be that loving person to her when all I get is either silence or crazy outbursts, I love her so much for now but when she starts I can go weeks without talking to her... In a word I'm lonely... She's 51 im 46 I know this isn't the right way to deal with it but soon I'll need to walk away from a 28-year relationship, thats painfull...

It's like they become so selfish and self aburbed with their own intense emotions there is no room for us. We get friend zoned for 10 years and are expected to commit but if it was the other way around a woman would leave. Men are the only thing that don't get loved unconditionally.

So you like all the other videos put everything on the men to do more. We have done all the supporting we can do and still nothing. We are 10 years in and hasn’t gotten any better. All I keep hearing is help and support her. Nothing about help and support for men

If shes makes your life hell, not her fault, but it's no way to live especially if she won't get help. My mother was abusive towards my father during her menopause and made his life hell. Only so much you should take. It's not your fault either. If it is a problem may have to think about yourself and leave. Odd's are she would.

I do everything in the relationship, Romance, massages, take care of her, calm her, ect.. name it I'm the night in shinning armor. 39 attractive and 16 years younger. I've been in the friend zone for 12 of the 16 years. After spoiling her with love, patience, romance etc...every day. Once a month I finally explode and basically have to beg for her to get in the mood, nothing else worked. I''m doing everything selflessly but everything is always about her and how she feels and what she wants to do. Mens love is unconditinal but a women just want to get more from us. Spoiling her with love does not work to get anything in return. If I start to treat my partner like she treats me will that work? I could start getting critical of everything she does, ignore, not touch her or even compliment.... Let me know if anyone else tried this sort of reverse psycology. She doesn't need to do anything to get my love and maybe thats the problem. She's never felt neglected, rejected or unloved like she makes me feel every single day and I keep coming but I'm getting tired of the loneliness. Ideas?

I am in the same boat but I refuse to be ignored or taken advantage of. If she stops doing her part, I stop doing mine, period. My wife, along with many women are selfish and really only seek their own way regardless of the decade of their life. My wife always manipulated me to get her way but atleast was very active sexually. When she stopped making it a priority, I stopped mowing the lawn, cooking, cleaning or anything else. Men do too much to try to please their wives and the women take advantage throughout the relationship. Even if the woman doesn't want sex anymore during menopause, it doesn't excuse their responsibility as a wife to meet the sexual needs of the man. Do they think half the crap we do for them is stuff we volunteer for? It's a double standard that women will take full advantage of during menopause if allowed to. This might sound harsh but it's the only way that is fair to both the man and woman. It's a give and take. If they stop giving, give them nothing of you to take advantage of. This society is full of men who allow themselves to be abused, emasculated, neglected, and used. My advice is try hard to stay with them but only if they are trying to meet your needs just as much as you are theirs.

Even if the man is super supportive and does everything right by her.. its still over for him.. perimenopause signals the eventual end of the the relationship.. even if you stay together it's not the same anymore.. it's just kinda ruined

Nope, I am 9 years younger than my partner and WE were not living anymore for a while together After losing a flat. Durin this time at 39 yo I had some very bad stuff coming to me VAGUS NERVE Dysfunction, appetite loss, difficulty to breathe, irregular heartbeat, sexual dysfonctionnement. We found back each other since but she reach this age when she follows an hormonal therapy, when I tried to talk about the subject she unleashed everything at me in a wrong way and ignore even what happened to me from my side . She refuses what is inherent to a woman's life because her ego can't let go the idea she is old. She is not. She doesn't listening to me , had sudden.mood change and when upset treat me of pervert. Life can be a concour of circumstances. So FUCK menopause this is not the end and a lot of women still enjoy sex even more than before

Poor men. The loss of themselves and manic changes THEIR bodies go thru during this time. Let’s absolutely make sure THEY have a safe place to go while their wives are acting crazy. 🙄 gtfo All something SOME men, the old school pussy-men, resort to when something is not about them and their needs. Thank the freakin universe that my husband and older teen sons are intellectually empathetic (layman’s terms: real men) and have been amazingly supportive and patient as I venture this perimenopausal bullshit. Amazing examples to our young son and all of their friends. Best of luck to the women in your lives🥰😂😘

Almost every woman, on the topic of menopause, which concerns men generally starts with so, men, menopause, smile, ha ha. Like it’s some joke. Please be serious. IT’S NOT A JOKE. It’s a nightmare when your wife hates you (me). Stop being flippant about it. It only makes men hate it more. Ha ha! Stop it! I need support also. I mean it! Knowing what’s happening with my wife is not the support I need. Everything you are suggesting I’ve done for 25 years. It doesn’t help. Sorry.

I do get what you mean. The information is actually quite useful however most women that i know do laugh about it and just expect men to 'suck it up' as it were and deal with it. It highlights a larger issue in society around most women not havinhmg respect for men. I wish you well, and hope your problem gets sorted.

I agree with you 100%. It's like I'm in a relation ship but its one sided. I've been friend zoned for almost 10 years. After all the romance, support, massages, commitment, sacrafice, selfless actions she just get spoiled. She never feels lonly or rejected like she does to me every single day. Always the excuss not in the mood, never makes the first move. Always critical of me but I'm supporting her. I'm with you we have been doing the right thing for years. I finally just realized its just nothing I did wrong or anything I can do. Menopause changes them into another person. It's like it makes them hate themselves so they hate anyone nearby them. How has your situration gotten after a year?

My wife age 57 is going through menopause and it is ruining our marriage of 30 years she is not the woman I married all those years ago she has changed so much I think I am falling out of love with her and losing my patience at the same time I haven’t had sex in a few year’s now something is going to have to give and I have talked to her but apparently my needs are not important in this sexless relationship there are other things she can do that don’t involve vaginal penetration she can do oral? Or even anal she did all that before menopause I don’t know how much longer I can hold on? I have expressed my concerns that’s all I can do
