Age matters shit. Lil kev's been breaking since he was a kid. He out experiences Menno. He lost because he wasn't as fresh, smooth, nor musical as Menno. When you watch lil Kev dance you don't get the feeling that he knows what he's doing, when you watch Menno you get the feeling that he's in his own world bringing all he got.
Not only did Menno win, but he worked him too. Kev needs to ease up that cocky attitude he has. It'll change as he gets older. He won't become a better dancer unless he does so. Accept it Kev.
Lil Kev starting as soon as the judge said go, before even a bottle was spun, and before the song hit its main beat, just shows how inexperienced he was/is.
Man...Lil'Kev doesn't seem ready for this competition. He is dope no doubt and has been around for a while but he doesn't seem to be quite RedBull BCOne material yet.
i agree that Lil Kev is cocky even when he was a kid but hey hes a great BBoy even if just a powerhead.But still this was a great battle and much love to both BBoys
i think lil kev was like 16 for the 08 bc one hes like the second youngest in bc one and lil ceng is the youngest when he entered he was like 15 i think
Not necessarily true. Menno has a pretty substantial arsenal. If Kev brought more heat at the end, Menno likely woud've answered back and been able to win. Not saying it's guaranteed, just making an observation on first round tactics.
lil kev is still a bit young, im not saying he aint dope- but he s still like 18- and all the other bboys are like 24-26. When he s there age he ll be at the very top- but hes still got a few things to improve that vet bboys have- like theyre own unique style- a balance between power and style, and dance skills too.
