Man....this BC One really brought out the talented young b-boys from around the world...nice seeing them stepping up and challenging themselves with the older ones..lil g, taisuke, lil kev, and lil ceng: i give you guys respect....peace
Videos can have multiple takes; at BC One, you only get one go, so it shows just how clean you are. Anybody can look good in their own videos when they can do ten or twenty takes.
Give Lil G some Years... he will be a BEAST, he's just 18, he would be one of the bests powerheads ... remember that. bt now... Taisuke owned him... PEACE
Every time I see this battle I can't help but think about how far Lil G has came since this performance. He has definitely redeemed himself from this one.
Lil G is amazing and has great body control. He got rocked out in this particular battle, but I would not want to ever battle someone that good. Mad props to Taisuke for naturally dancing the way he always does and getting as far as he did. One of the illest styleheads in the world.
I used to hate so much on Lil G for this performance... he wasn't even close to be good enough for RBBC1... but look at him now... he is without a doubt the most complete powerhead out there
U'r Right man... i'm glad finally someone knows the truth about bring some bboys like lil G or lil Kev... They r the FUTUREof bboyin... give Lil G some years... he will b a killer ... i'm sure of tht... PEACE!!!
Lol BC One 2008 was the time right before Taisuke started to lose touch of that toprock flava. Mainly cause he kept losing each year. But this year even though he didn't win BC One, he won award for the best Powerhead killer that year ahah (round 1: Lil G, round 2: Cico, Round 3: Lil Ceng)
The hell are you all disrespecting on Lil G for he did a good job and he was doing really a lot better in his videos. dont underestimate him he was enjoyable
Yea I know tht, only his 1st st was good, and still in tht set he crashed at the end, but u know wht i mean, he won various competitions even in europe like Eurobattle 2008 Powermoves, he won against powerheads like Marcio, i only wanted to say, if the opponent was nasa or lil kev, he surely could pass to quarters, but not to semis ... like cico... whatever, he was impresive and did a good show, he wasn't the worst in tht comp. ppl enjoyed with him.... well PEACE!!!
I still don't understand why they even brought him to BC One... There are many other bboys a lot more capable than him that have much more to show. Taisuke took this one without breaking a sweat.
@Dingomanzero13 I' m not according with that at all, the judges must take in account even more the difficulty of the movements and tricks, by the simple and logic reason wich both factors are deeply related. Is very easy do cleanly movements with low difficulty and don´t make mistakes, but with tricks more complex is more and more hard do it cleanly. Footwork can be very good looking in an habilidous leg-lockers, but is so far not so hard as powermoves, that are even more impressive.
@abarusso yeah thats so sad 2008 i thougt one day he take the title but now im not really sure i hope he not forgot that style is also an important thing in bboying and sry for my bad english :-P
Lil G has the strength and the knowledge to do exactly what he's trying to do...with a little more effort to be accurate i think he'd pull off any move he desired Taisuke...that dude bores me whenever i watch him do his thing...but that's just one persons opinion i guess
lil G will be a beast pretty soon, he's got the technique down and everything, but he needs to perfect his shit with smoother sets. like who the hell drops down from toprock to your knees to fucking turtle? lol, I'm thinking it's inexperience to the actual dance.
Taisuke all the way! great power moves from lil G in the first round and still he took it easy and got some very cool smooth moves. I'm from southamerica and would've loved lil G to be the winner, but well, nothing to do ;). what's the first song??
omg this year was so bad. BC One should have a dope ass line up but three bboys that don't really deserve to be here came this year. Lil'G, Lil'Kev, Cico (came too many times with not much new stuff each year)
wow man li'l G was so sloppy he didn't have a single vote from the judges and taisuke probably nodding his head thinking that "man my momma can break way better than u".
