I see a message closely related to the lyrics. It's about that 30 something crisis, when you realize that strutting you peacock feathers, and having a highly competitive personality is soooo 20 something. But it's still difficult to get past it. And, as the video shows at the end, all of that is just pointless illusion. I thought the video was deep, and comical as well.
