The British Menopause Society (BMS) and ITN Business have partnered to produce news-style programme MENOPAUSE: MISINFORMATION AND MANAGEMENT, raising awareness and understanding of the menopause and perimenopause.
Around 13 million people are currently peri or menopausal in the UK. People are talking more openly about the menopause but there is still a lot of misinformation. The programme addresses misinformation through research & education and looks at menopause management. Covering workplace policy and mental health, there is a focus on the education of younger women as they approach perimenopause, opening the conversation around symptoms, nutrition and what to look out for.
