A chat through some mental health challanges I have faced over the years. My first experience and one of my latest. Lots has happened in between!
By using that experience and support I can now effectively manage my mental health. I was ignorant to social media effecting mental health. Until I had to deal with getting told I am seeking fame, offer little value, am attacking, undermining, making it up, invite comments like that with generic unnamed posts, might want to consider adjusting how you post on social media. All from people once upon a time I held in high esteem. It rocked me.
I spent time reflecting on those comments and the version of me those people see. Even understanding they may have issues in their own lives and mental health. Only to be told we are all the better for blocking you. Apprentice 121 gave me that insight and I hope by sharing this it could help others.
Equally as a young 20 something year old I was among the most ignorant people towards mental health issues. Learning the hard way it can effect anyone.
Having so many young people reach out through Apprentice 121 who are really struggling with mental health has prompted me to share my experiences and do the 5691m challange for August.
