love these style of videos, the small details of more broad concepts. I like how you use different examples and characters, teaching me alot of random things outside of the mine concept of the video that i wasn't expecting to learn
I'd like to add on to what you said at the end about creating and subverting expectations. It's also important to have an understanding that your opponent will do this to you. Actively looking for how you're being conditioned can help you on defense. For example, if your opponent staggers 2K twice, they might be trying to set you up to get counter hit by 2K2D.
5 months later, well into the start of S2 and god bless this video is gold. I like Debs very high level cerebral videos on the deep meta game, but these hard and fast examples are very good too. You didn't even touch the character I play, May, and this video immediately got the gears turning on how I can utilize this, and why my other attempts were failing.
