Your gift for adding sound to visual image is remarkable, and I hope you will continue to develop this talent to the fullest! Comes from hearing the music behind any idea suggested to you....always loved when you did that ad lib. But also gratifying to see your joy in performing your works!
Thanks for sharing the link! I am amazed with your compositions. If you are ever in need of an 11 year old girl's voice please check me out. I have access to a good home recording studio. I would be honored to sing for you. x
Emily, you are a joy to watch. Have been following you since you 'started' on social media. I love your music … multi-gifted. The world is a much better place as you share your gifts. Thank you.
Thank you for adding to the world's happiness; musically you are without peer, and your smile is genuinely one that spawns likewise smiles. All the best to you and yours!
WOW!!! ABSOtively, POSIlutely FABulous! Emily clearly had as much fun and joy performing this as I did viewing and listening to this clip! I just LOVE the way she briefly assisted 'Koz' with the conducting, and I also LOVE the way she engaged with the orchestra which is something one rarely sees with virtuosa soloists (and which is a delightful habit she no doubt acquired from playing in jazz trios and quartets), and with the audience. She has been as much of a consumate performer since before having been introduced to audiences by her mentor, Quincy Jones, and simply goes from strength to strength. What an absolutely Divine gift she is to the world! *FOLLOW THE BEAR!!!* *_{;-) R._*
I just love this! Honestly you’ve become my favorite artist and person. Watching you play with such enthusiasm and great character gets to me every time!! You’re the best keep it up, can’t wait to hear more of you and your new songs ;)
If Tom Hulce portrayal of Mozart is accurate in anyway, Emily has all the spontaneity, and talent of Mozart without being crude or loutish. Her smiles are contagious.
Emily is sooo good for composing and writing music but to see and listen to her play... fabulous!!! Unmatched!! I am in my 60s and have loved piano since I was a kid and never, ever have I heard and watched anyone that I enjoyed even half as much as Emily Bear.
Oh, Emily, you are simply SO amazing and gifted! This score is so beautiful, fun, suspenseful, daring, intriguing, and magical!!! 🎶💕 -You look like you are truly having So much fun! You Go Girl!!! 🎉 Be YOU and have the time of your life, throughout your life!!! ❤️💕❤️💕 I am a fan held in wonder! 💕
James Barry but it would not have made any sense - as this is a new live score to Disney „Merbabies“ 1938 cartoon...the march of the Merbabies with brass etc. - the piano is only a part of the composition ..composed/orchestrated by her...there will be very likely Emily Bear compositions in future without piano or very small part..btw. I have no problem hearing the piano.
Holy crap.. I have been listening to most things from you on RU-vid, and for some that normally do not listen to that much classic music... I must admit I find it hard not to smile as you do while playing when I listen to you play. I hope to hear much more from you in the future.
It reminds me of the impressionistic era of Ravel and Debussy. I would compare it to Ravel’s Jeux D’eu (playing water) which I played a few years ago. I’m a 23 year old piano teacher but I could never imagine composing something this epic!! You rule, Emily! Please be my friend 🤩
You, my sweet Em, are one the rare people that touch me like no other. It feels like you drift in as a light breeze, become a beuatiful spring storm, then gone so fast that I am with the feeling - what just happened to me?
