A W210 rack works really well since it’s front mounted just like these era of Mercedes. Custom bracket for extra support if you want and that’s basically it. Order some adjustable tie rods and connect them to the oem arms. Goodluck, hope the build goes smoothly.

What fab work is required to mount an m113k?!

Nice to see you working on the Irish cars. The laws here are very strict about car modification - cutting chassis, engine upgrades, and swaps etc. Inspection and engineer reports are required for anything that goes on the road to be insured and driven. I'd love to transplant an M104 on a standalone ECU and run twin turbos on it in the W201 chassis, but the red tape puts me off.

Thinking of doing an M113 or M113K swap on my 190e. Is it manageable with 1 person or what else would you recommend? Just trying to make some good power and keep costs low

I've seen all sorts of conversions done to W201's but the strangest had to be a 450 iron block M117 into a W201 ,done back in the 1980's.

FCP Euro used bmw steering rack up front and w204 steering knuckles on their 190e build
