The best and quickest results I’ve had when cleaning exhaust pieces is using a chemical called Ospho. If you look it up it’s a very useful tool for efficient exhaust cleaning. I use it with steel wool.
Thanks for showing how you polish the convertible top rear window. I've got a 1972 107 with the original convertible top. The plastic window is badly oxidized and has a few stains that hand polishing can't take out. I'm looking forward to using your method.
I'm always excited to see your new videos. Loving the added noise of the tools without drowning out the excellent soundtracks, too! Do the people that have oil leaks ever get them fixed before they go to auction? It would be a shame of oil leaking under that newly blasted under carriage again with the added protection wax added.
I get the ASMR type satisfaction - it's the *coolest* process - but what must be very effective rust protection is being removed. It's definitely nice to see the condition underneath but I would cosmoline (or whatever they're using these days) the undercarriage if I bought a car that was cleaned with dry ice.
In many videos, you’ll see us spraying on Waxoyl, which is a rust protectant similar to cosmoline, after we do Dry Ice cleaning. We’re located in southern california and many of these cars are kept in climate controlled garages, so rust isn’t a huge fear for many owners
