Mercedes ASR light

my s420 1995 is doing asr only some tines it dose sone times it dosent I don't feel aloss of power I have to push pedal all the way down sometimes tho then bow and then it had power loss if the rps rev it self and drops back down till I restart it

So My ASR light is on all the time but the car only sometimes goes into limp mode. Generally it will be when I come to a stop and then accelerate or almost stop and accelerate and then the car will sometimes go into limp mode but ASR light is on all the time. 1993 SL600

I have a 1996 sl500 and when i start it the rpm goes up and down and revs with no throttle response but when I prep the ignition it works fine I just ordered a used throttle body alculator would that be the fix for this problem also the asr light pops up when it’s in limp mode but when I prep it it doesn’t come on and the car drives fine please give me your in sight on this

1999 Sl500 abs light and esp light on but car runs good i would like to clear codes?also what Scanner would work with this car year built 8/99

ASR issue is always associated with throttle Body? I've been facing this issue for over a month now and non seems to know the problem!!! On my s600 95

Hello ! I have the same problem on my SL500. The ASR light is on all the time but the engine seems to run ok, the acceleration is good when I press the accelerator. Is the problem could come from the throttle body or the wires to the throttle body? Thanks in advance !

I have a 1994 S420. My ASR light is on. I am located in Detroit Michigan. I need my throttle reset because it's doing the samething as the video you did on ASR light. Please respond with any thoughts.

Hi you repaired a throttle body on a 95 119 140 s 500 coupe and I have replaced a bunch or parts new battery new voltage regulator in alt now it charges okay but have the ASR and SRS light on and the check engine light is on also can the brake light switch be bad check engine light may be the o2 sensors any iideas

HELLO VICTOR I HAVE JUST REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY ON A 1995 SL320 R129 AFTER CLEARING CODES AND ADJUSTING CABLE ASR CAME BACK ON SAYING ASR CAN BUS COMMUNICATION CODES I JUST PUT REMANUFACTURERED THROTTLE BODY ON FROM AUTOHAUS AZ. FIRST TEST DRIVE WENT BACK INTO LIMP MODE SO I SEE THE PLUG AT THE TRANSMISSION IS WET WITH OIL,AND I HAVE SEEN IN MY TIME WHEN THE TRANSMISSION PLUG IS WET LIKE THAT IT HAS THE TENDENCY TO PULL OIL THROUGH THE HARNESS TO THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE COULD THIS POSSIBLY BE MY ISSUE? PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED I HAVE BEEN A MERCEDES MECHANIC FOR 35 YEARS AND ALSO BMW BUT THESE OLD SL'S ARE VERY TEMPERMENTAL CARS TO WORK WITH MUCH RESPECT FREDERICK,AUTOHAUS AUTOMOTIVE,LONG ISLAND NEW YORK
