Mercedes-Benz C250 Turbo 2012: EMBLEM LED LIGHT Installation 

Does the brightness of the star change during the day or night? The DRL brightness changes so I'm curious to if the star's brightness changes too.

@@JuiceForJuice you're welcome the other way, is too complicated and so many things can go wrong. The worst case scenario you have to replace a side marker indicator over a fried headlight.

The star lights are LED and the main car headlight is hologen lights. Wouldn't this put too much power to the LED star light?

NO. There Are Resitors In The Star.

im trying to find the parking light wire. can you help plz ?

i even bought the fuse tap but it doesnt look safe to connect it to the fuse box specially regarding the earth wiring. so ive tried to look for the parking light but cant find it ... any suggestions?

I am not sure but maybe you can use parking light connection.

+Nick Blinow Hi Nick, my day time running lights stay on all the time when I push unlock button on the remote and when the car is on/running. Star is not connected to the headlights. So it does not matter if the head lights are on or off. It is connected to the daytime running light only. Please let me know if you need any other info, thanks for watching my video.

no problem but i have another question. After i installed the emblem i my car would not start and i started seeing the srs warning and a abs warning in the dash. Would the emblem have something to do with it or did my battery go?

Just wire this to fog or headlights, then it'll turn on when they are on.

hf007jkt why do you think your engine would matter all you need is 2013, and all 250 the rest is unnecessary

Hi Erik, You can use parking lights or fog light connection, but you will need to turn on the fog lights to turn on the star light. Thanks and good luck

I connected it to foglights and it still works, and yes, need to turn it on manually. But when you unlock the car they turn on anyway!

My car is 2012 C300 4 Matic black.This Mercedes is your car?Do you change the halogen bulbs interior or exterior with led?I just change the reverse one with Philips 1156 led replacing the 7056 halogen yellow but I received error message on the dashboard because I don't use the Canbus warning canceller 21 w,I love the bright white of Philips but I need to returned because I don't know what cable to punch in order ro instal the canceller and I found on aznoptics a led bulb canbus ready but now is out of stock.So,the star stay on all the time or only when you press lock-unlock button?

mine is 2012 bluetec 1.8L turbo, no I have not changed the halogen bulbs. Mine works with the daylight, yeah it works with the daytime running lights.

I need to removed all that parts in order to put that cable until the DRL?

+Diana Liu I am not sure if you have the same parts. Try not to force anything out. Take your time and do one thing at a time. Watch my video and see if you have similar parts.

The 2013 C model star should work on your car. I also have a 2014 C250 and will install this.

+Abdullah Gondal, wiring configuration can be with the daytime running light, or any other light that can provide 12 volts, such has parking light etc. Its a low amp light so you don't need too much amps. It can also be connected in the fuse box. It also depends on the light you will be purchasing. In any case here is what i recommend. 1. Figure out how to install the star by removing your existing emblem, hopefully its the twist kind and you won't have to take the grille out. If not procedure might be same as mine. Try it and let me know. 2. Figure out if you want to connect it with a light, such as daytime running light or parking light or any other, assuming that you have a two wire connection like mine, if so, double check if you can easily access and connect the wires. 3. Make sure whatever badge you purchase it is compatible. Further, you may want to inspect/plan installation procedure before you purchase the star. +Brandon C, it will not look anything like your daytime running light. So basically at night time it will look good and bright. My car was parked in the garage, I made the video at night time. Try it in a dark area and check. If it looks dim then return it and use some other vendor.
