You are replacing the brake fluid. Brake fluid brakes down over time and it's boiling point lowers. Which can cause brake fade under hard braking when everything gets hot. Moisture also can build in syste. Causing a spongy pedal. In a week I am releasing a full brake service on that vehicle I am editing it today
