Mercedes-Benz SLK R171 - (Nearly) All the Facelift Changes | MGUY 

I bought my R171 in the UK, July 2018, & it has been an absolute joy from day one. It had one owner from new, and they obviously took good care of it - and I make sure that I carry on with that. It goes into the garage for the winter, and enjoys the sun in summer - it's never out in the rain - the chassis is bone dry, so no corrosion. Going to hang on to it till the electric car mob force petrol off the road - then put it on a pedestal!!🤣🤣

Favorite car of all time..picked up mine 3 months ago 2006 SLK 280 changed radio sat and roof issue hydrolic cylinders. Drives like a dream

I've been owning a 2005 SLK350 for 7 years now - it’s got 96,000 km. Nothing has broken over the years. But I did a lot of interior and exterior changes for my liking. Of the mechanical changes that have changed the character a lot, and what I may recommend to do is to get the Kleemann exhaust manifolds, ECU tune, activation of Agility mode in the automatic transmission and the limited-slip differential. The car has changed a lot - sounds and drives on a different level now. This year I’m thinking of installing an compressor - it’s almost bolt-on, it’s quite cheap and gives about 380-400hp, you even can up to 450hp, but it is desirable to add new cylinder liners first. I also think about the M113 Kompressor Engine Swap - but it’s too much of a mechanical overhaul and might ruin the car’s chassis balance. Great car overall

Had the 2009 facelift 350 since new. 34k miles. Still a lot of fun. Sad the SLK/SLC is no more. 😞

Great video! I’m looking into getting a facelift version as my first car here in nz, what is the fuel mileage like? Also is the Bluetooth audio hard to set up? I’d prefer to avoid cds.
