You have to have keyless go from the beginning to use this feature unless you want to program

It works Just with select models. It does not work for every Mercedes.

Mate, what you are saying has nothing to do with this button. (it’s not a key but a piece of plastic shaped to fit on the ignition) Because that can happen pretty much to every car. 80% of modern cars nowadays are keyless (if you not aware) so basically if a mugger is up to no good, he still gonna be just another mug. But this uploader forgot to mention the most important factor. For this button to work, the car has to have the keyless option installed. This can easily be checked just with one finger. Just put one finger on the ignition and push in once. The dashboard will light up and steering wheel will unlock. Pushing it once more, it will start up the car. If your car doesn’t do anything when you push down the ignition, then it is not keyless so this button becomes less than useless. So that mugger you were afraid about it will be still the mug who mugged you with only one finger…
